Happy Thanksgiving...who's playing today?

Thread Starter

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving. We're doing our family Thanksgiving this evening so my normal group is teeing off at 7 this morning. Tuesday was my birthday and I went yesterday and bought myself a new Titlesit 913D2 driver, so I looking forward to getting to the first tee this morning.

Who else is playing today?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Not today.....tomorrow while wifey shops, and my usual Sunday game.

We're playing tomorrow too.  Have a fun round.

Glad I decided not to play this morning - it's still only 50 degrees out.

Will be playing tomorrow afternoon and my normal Saturday 8:00 AM.

It'll be in the low 70's tomorrow. No worries, just long pants and a light sweater.... a2_wink.gif

It has been in the mid 60's here lately so not to bad at all.  Perfect weather for playing today but don't think I am going to be able to make it out to the course.

I only had to wear long pants once last year - if i have to break them out this year I would prefer that it was closer to xmas.

Wish I could play, but no golf course here so I'll have to settle for this:

Went to the range this morning (Thanksgiving), playing tomorrow. Unfortunately we could only get a 12:28pm tee time so I don't know if we will get 18 in before the sun goes down. Should be in the mid 50s with no wind, perfect day for fall golf.

Got out with my boys this morning. 38* at 9:15. Played 9 and had my best 9 of the year, 2 over. Parred the first 4 holes ( 2 sand saves,). Put a new putter in the bag, Cleveland classics #3 and only had 11 putts for the round. Looks like this will stay for a while. We'll keep playing up here until the snow flies.

I played today  (Thanksgiving) - a beautiful day in South Texas.  60 degrees at 8 am but we were in t-shirts by 10.  The course was in great shape, the wind was light but steady.  A picture perfect day for golf.  Turkey-day golf is going to be a new tradition with me as long as I live down here.

I'm with you, played yesterday at 9am in shorts was a balmy 80 Love South Texas in the Winter. My son is down and well play 36 today, tomorrow and 18 before he leaves Sunday. Doesn't get any better than that;-)

I was the first time of the day. Had a 4 hole gap between me and the closest group. Was pretty awesome, though I played really bad, six doubles in a row. Missed lots of 2 ft putts. Easily the best and worst day on the course for me. Despite that I had a great time.

I didn't have time to get out yesterday, but today and the rest of the weekend is mine!  Heading to the range for a couple hours after I finish lunch.  Then I have tee times for tomorrow and Sunday.  High 50's to mid 60's the rest of the weekend.  I love our Colorado Indian summer!
