Would Someone Playing Holes from 100 Yards Out Bother You?

Update from earlier (I am on topic author) : my friend played yesterday with us this way.  On some holes he played the full hole, but he carried a very limited set of clubs (5-wood, 7-iron, 9-iron, wedges, putter).  Still made his share of pars and a few "pars" (down in three from the 150 marker, treating the rest of the hole as a par-3).  

The four of us did a pretty good job staying on the threesome ahead of us, too.

No. It's even positive since you will need less time getting around the course.

I think the people saying they'd be bothered are imagining a foursome plus someone doing this, as opposed to a foursome where one person is doing this.
