Sarcasm is lost on some.

Yea I’m still not quite catching it.

I like waffles for every reason you mentioned, but I can get reactive hypoglycemia from eating waffles or pancakes for breakfast, so before playing golf the only choice of the three has to be french toast.

If I’m not playing golf then give me the waffles loaded with real butter and maple syrup, nutrition be damned. No sarcasm there.

The point of picking french toast for it’s nutritional value isn’t that it’s health food, it’s that it’s a better food to sustain you for longer periods.

The fact that you answered in this manor explains why you are one of the very few (and I mean very very few) men I know who can actually wear a white belt and not look like a chud. 😁

If you answered anything other than waffles you are either wrong, insane, or in some other way have issues. (I'm looking at you @boogielicious) ... Just saying.

Waffles are the king of carbo-loading breakfasts. Pancakes are fine, but anytime I'm eating them I'm wishing they were waffles.

@billchao makes a decent case for French Toast, but the only way to eat French Toast properly is to slather them in Strawberries and tons of powdered sugar. AND then pour more butter and maple syrup on them. So, any slight health advantage French Toast may have had should be completely negated at that point.

In conclusion: The definitive answer is: WAFFLES! ill-take-the-waffles-waffles.gif.7a173ff9a43e0ea0b889d0a70f00ff43.gif

French Toast. There was a time once where I an entire loafs worth of French Toast (made with the thick Texas toast) and a generous helping of bacon.

French toast had more protein than the other choices. It doesn’t matter how much sugar you put on top of them.

When I make it at home I add sugar and vanilla to the custard. Those I can eat without syrup.

Don't pancake and waffle recipes include an egg? So, all 3 are basically bread/egg combinations. Reminds me of a joke about Mexican food all being the same except for how it is folded or not (as in a tostada). This has become quite the controversial topic 🤣

That is my wife's favorite show. I thought she ordered them with whipped cream. On the topic of sarcasm, I remember being in Indiana and mentioning the town of Pawnee in reference to Parks and Rec, and a guy stated in the most serious tone "that is not a real town". 🤣

You can just Google the nutritional value of the choices. Generally, a single slice of french toast has more protein than a single pancake or a single waffle.

Both pancake and waffle batter recipes call for an egg. A single egg to make multiple pancakes/waffles. Whereas French toast custard for a single order generally requires at least two eggs. So you’re comparing eating a fraction of an egg to eating two eggs. Source: cooked at a diner for 10 years.

Your scenario says nothing about cooking your personal recipe for waffles. It says you stop for breakfast on your way, implying that you left your house without eating.

There’s not checkmate in checkers, which is apparently the logic game you’re trying to play here 😜

Look, if there's one thing I've learned from the internet. It's this:

Defend your point to the end. No matter how ridiculous it may be. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, never admit you're wrong. AND if it does turn out that you're wrong, just scream louder and attack the person's character. Then if need be, move the goalposts.

So, yeah, I bet you don't even use proper deodorant! ... HA!

Good to know you’re actually capable of learning. That’s surprising, given your educational background.

OK, french toast is superior...I will say that I have made all three and most of the egg stays in the prep bowl when making french toast 🤣 This discussion brings back memories from when I had 4 teenagers in the house.😁

At a Major, would you rather have a 5 shot lead going into Saturday, or be 1 shot back going into Sunday?

It doesn't matter how you got to your spot on the leader board. To many variables like shot a course record or got hot with the putter last few holes, etc. I think trying to hold my lead as well as put some distance on the field would add to the pressure. Like trying to do two things at once. If I am 1 back, I can play a bit more aggressive and hope I can get hot and keep the mistakes at bay. With a 5 shot lead, you cant make mistakes.

1 back Sunday. The Saturday lead seems the most tenuous to me. Most players appear to be just trying to protect the lead and falter. Harman hung on this year. At 1 back, these guys are in attack mode.
