I’m doing much better with the back pain. Ribs are ribs...just need some time for them to heal but much better range of motion. I’m a little watchful over the bowel issue. I’ve developed a slight pain right at the site where the perforation happened. Not bad at all but I’m a bit hypersensitive to it based on what happened lol. Otherwise all is well and I’m hoping to do some chipping next week and see how it goes.

Glad you are feeling better @Vinsk.

So when are you going to show the kids those cool skateboard tricks?😜

Ya know, if this doctoring thing loses your interest, maybe you need to video these things and start a YouTube channel. Big money in it, I hear. 😆

Headed out to the course today. Just some chipping and pitching. Nice and easy 10yd-40yd. Went well with no jolts or spasms. I’m a little sore tonight but all good. Little by little. We’re in the 80’s so beautiful outside ( sorry to the Northern guys.) Going back out Wednesday.👍

Lol...yeah...well that’s why I threw in the apology with the unnecessary mention of the weather.🤭

Just an update. I’ve been battling a real mess of ruptured internal hemorrhoids..lol. Gotta love it! It’s better now so back to regular recovery mode. I did some short game today again. I ended by taking 5 balls and hitting my 56* with almost a full swing. Very carefully of course and more of a full pitch swing with only minimal rotation. I was able to do that without any jolts and no tightness tonight so that’s good. Doing gentle stretching and still making progress. Again, thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. 😃

Lol! That’s unusual! I figured you’d have a real doozy for me after posting that.🤭

I'm thinking your avatar may have something do to with it. Those teeth look sharp!

Well, now you know how we all feel when we read your posts. :-D

Seriously, though, glad you're continuing on your recovery. Sounds like the light at the end of the tunnel is getting bigger.

I don't know how I missed this thread the first time around, but good god. @Vinsk I hope everything heals up for you. I feel for you though I once spent 5 days in the hospital with Rhabdomyolysis after working out too hard and then playing full court basketball against my daughter's team for 2 hours. Not as young as we used to be!

    • The Singer Porsche.....
    • They both kinda sound like fun. I think I'd likely score better on the fast flatter green. It might take some time to get used to the speed. The slower more undulated green would be fun for me and some of my golf buddies. So, I'd definitely take option 1 ... unless I took option 2. I'd choose both or neither. So, I'm not going to sit on the fence. Unless I'm already sitting on the fence.... maybe?
    • We'll have a 2021 Goals Recap topic, like always. Save your recaps for that. It'll be up in December or so.
    • Among my goals for 2021, as I wrote quite a long time ago, was to create some reality with thoughts of shooting my age while I'm still 72.  The combination of age and it representing even par would be more meaningful to me. That isn't going to happen, not that I don't still have until May of 2022. Physical issues with bone spurs in my shoulders and a big flare up of sciatica have reduced my hopes, (I can't consider them goals yet), to simply be able to play without pain. I'm doing physical therapy and played 9 holes yesterday for the first time in nearly 3 months. When I hit my tee shot on the first hole, I got emotional in front of a bunch of people. I probably looked pretty stupid, but I didn't care. It's great to have goals, but with apologies for sounding way too fatherly to you younger folks, don't ever take simply being able to play this great and ancient game for granted. The joy of the game should be our number 1 goal.
