A non-conforming driver, four 4-irons, clubs covered in plastic — Alex Rodriguez's golf clubs are a sight to...

Looks like he just grabbed one of those lost and found bags behind the counter at a local muni and brought it with him to play with 😃

There's a video out there of him swinging. It looked chicken wingy and cramped up. I guess it's just that he doesn't even play that he has a totally unmatched set.

I'm guessing he stopped at a yard sale on the way to the course. I have to say I am surprised he doesn't have a least a small familiarity with golf. MLB players play a lot of golf. Hell his yankee teammate Derek Jeter plays golf.

I found an old Callaway ERC Driver at the local Goodwill store for 2 bucks! I bought it for a friend who claimed to not like the look of the "canteloupe on a broomstick" Driver, and wanted something with a smaller head. He subsequently liberated one of his Dad's old Drivers from the refugee camp of the closet, and loves it! 450-460cc clubhead, long graphite shaft! And he hits the dog snot out of it! So much for thinking that you know what you need!

I’m pretty sure Jeter picked the game up after he retired.

I remember reading a magazine article years ago that said the Yankees had a no golf on the road policy or something to that effect, so Yankees players weren’t known to be big golfers. I’m think the article even stated this policy was one of the reasons John Smoltz would never have played for the Yankees.

I don’t even remember what magazine it was and I can’t find another source to back this up, so I guess I’m just going to be that guy that declares shit on the internet, here. Ugh.
