I can't get it on Roku tv. I need my computer for work. I get it. I'm watching anyway but just seems sorta like NBC dictating that you have to use the app. I already have Netflix, amazon prime tv, etc...I'm just burned out on all the streaming services. I actually keep hoping the one of the previously mentioned services just start buying everyone out so there will be one place. It is what it is.

It's not available on Roku. NBC and Roku haven't come to an agreement for a contract.

Also, unrelated and just IMHO, but everything Apple sucks sweaty bunghole.

I've had no issues yet watching on my phone using the Peacock (free signup) and the Open iOS apps. My main issue with the official US Open app is that these stupid trivia questions and polls pop onto the screen periodically. I'm trying to watch the US Open, not play a f***ing game show.

I don't have The Golf Channel, but I am recording all the NBC OTA broadcast coverage to watch at my leisure.

A little off topic, but Peacock is probably the only service I signed up for that didn't ask for my credit card number and is free. Plus the ads aren't overwhelming. Like 1 minute of ads for 45 minutes of scripted content.

Yes, it's not on Roku. The same thing happened with HBO Max though. Roku seems to have issues negotiating with some of the big players, and I've seen some throw up their hands and just buy an Apple TV because they really wanted HBO Max.

The Roku issue will be with us for this tournament but I am certain they will come to an agreement down the road so for now I will just stream to my PC.  Also, if you have an LG Smart TV that will also work...unfortunately my large screen TV is Samsung.  These are just "Growing Pains" with the transition to newer technology.

Streaming golf has always had its issues though, the No Laying Up guys have talked about this, I forget which episode.

Worse case is you just hook up laptop to TV, which is a minor inconvenience, but pretty much guaranteed to work.

I didn't get a chance to watch much of the action yesterday, so dunno if this was a topic, but some of posts in my social feed - people pissed at the USGA setup.

The fact that EAL shot 92 in his attempt to break 90 is very telling for how the course WAS set up. I hope that the WF team brings back the brutality that is associated with US Opens.

I'm surprised that "the big golfer" is holding it together as well as he is given recent results and the rough. Cool to see.
