This year will go down as the year of the pandemic, but in the golf world, it will also be the year of the exhibition. Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods revived their original friendly rivalry this sp…

I wonder how Phil feels again being the second best golfer in the group? Will he ever get to headline one of these? 🙂

Wait, they have 1 from PGA, 1 from NFL and 2 from NBA.  Why are they leaving out the NHL.  Maybe drop 1 NBA for 1 NHL.

Who in the NHL is > either Charles or Steph? Nobody.

It'd be dumb to add an NHL player instead of one of those two.

They can't get people to watch NHL stars when they are playing hockey. How do expect them to get people to watch an NHL star play golf?????

Why not just get a WNBA "star"? It would have about the same amount of draw.

I hear Breanna Stewart of the World Champion Seattle Storm can hit a golf ball almost 300 yards.  And could block every shot the members of this forum might take in a casual half-court game of one-on-one...

I wonder what Barkley's swing looks like nowadays. I guess we shall see. Well, he said he wasn't a role model, lol.

Poor Charles.  I hope they're not playing teams, otherwise Charles would be like the proverbial kid in grade school PE that nobody picks...

    • DAY 52  January 24th   I spend almost 4 hours on the range continuing to work on more rotation, and less head movement.  The video of my swing looks a lot better than a month ago... So I feel I am making progress.  I continue to use the drills from "Train for Golf Like an Olympian."  Hitting 12 balls with each drill, doing rehearsal swings between balls hit.
    • Day 20 - half swings with the 5-7-9 irons. Focused on consistent ball contact and follow through.  A good session with few bad strikes, most shots going/landing where planned....of course using practice foam balls as this was a backyard day.
    • I’m not actually on TikTok. But people I know send me golf-related stuff from time to time and so I copy/paste      But my wife, 5 years younger than myself is on it....a lot
    • You’re both too old to be TikTok followers 😜
    • Yes it’s been discussed but really cooL to see it in writing like that. So many melancholic Jack lovers will still cling to their silly Jack 18 argument. But yeah, Jack said it all right there. Several of Jack’s majors were about the equivalent of a today’s player John Deere Classic.
