Well we’re looking at playing in Ohio and we tend to tag people who live closer geographically to the course.

I do - but I did go to the meetup last year which was in western NY & PA so I've already proven I'm quite crazy enough to drive a fair amount of distance for a golf meetup, haha

I'm getting 1:30 to 1:50. This is a slightly reduced rate time.

@RFKFREAK, if you'd like, @boogielicious and @billchao are around for a few days. You could stay overnight and do a little instruction the next day if you wanted.

Keep copying/appending to the master list, so the latest post(s) always have the most up-to-date listings.

Update: 1:30, 1:40, 1:50 are booked.

We're at eight Definites and three Likelys. Toward the end of May, if there are spots open, we'll allow guests of members. So if you're listed above start thinking about that.

Small update to open up the last three spots. If you're one of the three "likely" people, please try to commit to "Definite" by the end of the day (midnight) this Sunday, May 23. If you're still "likely" after that, you can be supplanted by another "definite" if they want to join us.

The tee times are 1:30 to 1:50pm. Deer Ridge GC in Ohio.

Oh, hadn't thought about that.  I like that idea - especially with the course being 3 hours away from Erie.

      Great suggestion. Unfortunately, we did that and our offer was rejected.  Regarding owing special support. Our experience has shown you are right, as management has not helped us promote the rules of golf.  My (apparently unrealistic) thought is that should not be considered "special support" as they are running a golf course.

      Thanks for the reply, but this is off topic. The posted question is about the whether we should expect course administrators to promote the rules of golf.  LCP was just an example. (About that example, see Committee Procedures model local rules 8E-2 and 8E-3. Many clubs improperly combine these two rules, allowing LCP everywhere.)

      Been working on a fuller backswing and getting more open at impact. These are moving in the right direction, but there’s still room for improvement.
