I am assuming Brooks will actually win come Sunday.  He seems to be in good form, has learnt from his recent loss at the Masters and was always a big game player with a chip on his shoulder.  I think he is channeling that whole LIV vs PGA fight and how the PGA is trying to reduce LIV players into his fuel.  Should be an interesting day

He looked in good form at the Masters too and folded on Sunday.

Hovland again up there in a major. Hope he’ll get something going today. I don’t have the channel and don’t want to pay $40 for a Sunday, so I’ll be following online I suppose.

Very true.  But I saw some article where he said he learnt lessons from that loss.  Also, I think he is a big game player who needed that one loss at the Masters to put a bigger chip on his shoulder.  And that will make him a threat.  He is in form, healthy and with a chip on his shoulder after losing the Masters.  I believe he will be the frontrunner though there are a couple of guys who could easily make a run.

I think today I'm rooting just for an entertaining day, but it'd be cool to see Michael Block play one more great round to get into the field for more events in the future. Probably not gonna happen, but it's cool he's made it this far.

Oh man, top FOUR for the Masters? I thought it was like top 10 got him into the other majors. Or at least the two Opens.

Yea, his game is on.  Oak is in my Top 3 courses I’ve played, but a BK win there might taint it a little for me haha.  Fingers crossed some of the other guys get hot and BK cools down.

What would be nice is to see BK collapse in a Norman fashion. 😃

They can just call it a day. Block wins the day, even if he doesn't win the tournament.

    • Just like the 2022, 2021, 2020, 2023, and 2024 topics, we're doing it again in 2025! Once again, I'd like to birdie every hole at Whispering Woods in 2025 (and maybe every numbered hole on other courses). I'd like you to join me on this quest. I'll have a better chance this year if I don't completely screw up my left thumb in August, too… 😉 This year's spreadsheet is below: 2025 TST Birdie Challenge - Google Sheets Please click through, add your name, home course, and location, and when you make a score on the holes as you play them, update your line in the spreadsheet with your ringer score, basically. The idea is to score a birdie or better on each hole on the course this year. If you're above a certain handicap and would like to make it a par challenge, go for it! Just add that note to the Notes column. Please leave the formatting as is. And note that you only write down one score - if you birdie a hole three times, you aren't writing down -3. It's just your best individual score for each hole. We can all cheer each other on and see where this takes us! If you truly play a TON of different courses, then follow these two guidelines: If you just play a lot of golf, but still get 20 or 25 (or more) rounds in on one course, consider making that your home course and just doing the birdie challenge there. If you truly play only 20-40 rounds per year, and never more than a handful at the same course, consider trying to birdie holes numbered 1 to 18 across all of your courses. Or even doing it twice. Yeah, some hole #17s will be easier birdies than others, but that's why you might do it twice.
    • He was lied to on several fronts. But, was also dumb enough to believe them all.
    • 'Nothing changes; there is only money': Cut from LIV, former winner shares frustration Eugenio Chacarra, 24, intends to chase a PGA Tour card once his suspension ends in September. I wonder how many LIV players are feeling the same... Based on some of the news stories, I am guessing John Rahm may be one of those who regrets forgoing competition in lieu of $$$.  But others like Phil, probably likes the $$$ since he has accomplished much in the PGA and is in waning years.
