I was disappointed with homeland 3rd series! I almost gave up on it halfway through, but it did get better towards the end! I doubt they will ever exceed the first series though, and I'm not really excited for the 4th but I'll prob end up watching! Looking forward to banshee 2nd series more! However, Boardwalk empire just gets better and better! It's filled a big soprano shaped hole in my life! Great characters every series! Gonna try blacklist next!

Boardwalk Empire has done a pretty good job shedding characters. A show like that needs one focal point (Nucky) and revolving characters around them.

Recently finished American Horror Story: Asylum via Netflix. Batsh*t crazy. Aliens, possessions, demons, exorcisms, serial killers, Nazis, etc... If you can get past the crazy, it's a great guilty pleasure show.

Enjoying Treme too, Sleepy Hollow and Almost Human.

I haven't been able to get into that one yet. My wife watches it, and from what I can tell, it's nuts.

... The Walking Dead, an abysmal wreck of a show despite the ratings, sorry TWD fans, but that's my humble opinion after gutting out 3 seasons

Pun intended???

As an, I guess, TWD "fan" I am not at all offended, and in fact pretty much agree with you. ;)

If someone made a World War Z long form tv show, I would be so into that from day 1 if done well.

This is the show that featured crysturbating.

I think a WWZ show would be neat if done correctly. Give each chapter a few episodes. Or, they could tell snippets of each story over the course of a single show. I'm looking forward to the return of Banshee, as well. I was hooked from the pilot on. I've been meaning to get into American Horror Story as well.

I always see the teasers when watching Doctor Who , but never watched any of it. I might have to.

Love Doctor Who!

Yep. Looking forward to the Christmas special on Wednesday. Going to be bitter sweet since it means Matt Smith is out, but Peter Capaldi is in.

I've been on a serious Curb Your Enthusiasm binge over the past two days.... it reminds me how much I loved and miss this show. I hope Larry David comes back and does one more of all of us.

I did that over the summer. Great show, and I hope they make another season, but I think I binged too quickly. I got a bit burned out by the end.

If you like CYE, then Clear History might be worth a watch. Typical Larry David. Just about ready to watch The Doctor .

Haha, yea, I can see that. I started watching in around 2001 or 2002, so it's been a good slow burn for me. But I basically did what you did with Curb with Mad Men . I couldn't tell if the last season wasn't as good as the previous ones or if I was just burned out.

Yea, I'll definitely see that at some point. John Hamm + Larry David sounds good to me.

    • the rules have changed, but this would fall under 11.2 in the current rules.  General Penalty to any player who deliberately deflects a ball in motion, and you must replay the putt.
    • Day 250 4-29 Getting chest through with speed on downswing and wrist arch. Also worked on some moving the pelvis slightly away in the backswing. Feel like im going too fast and long, looks like it on the recordings too.
    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
