Four episodes into Electric Dreams. It's uneven, but the good episodes are very good.

What’s the release date for Man In The High Castle?  I really enjoy that show.

Fringe is one of my all time favorites.   John Noble is brilliant as Walter Bishop.

I did a binge binge of the first (and only) season of The Mist.  Aside from a couple of weak characters, I actually thought it wasn’t half bad.

Im eagerly awaiting Altered Carbon next week.

So Babylon Berlin, 2 seasons, is on US Netflix now. Lots of good word of mouth going around about it. Looking forward to watching.

I've seen the first two episodes of Counterpart on Starz.  It's pretty good.  Extremely well acted.  Especially J. K. Simmons.

The Good Place is done, so sad, second season didn't disappoint.

Halfway through Germany's Babylon Berlin - described as "cabaret on cocaine" does it no justice. Hard to describe - it's a detective/cop, political, historical drama with a hedonist/musical bent.

Japan's Erased is pretty good, why not another time travel show?

Right when you think you see what's coming, they come up with something totally new. Wow.

Finished Babylon Berlin. It was good the first half then it got really good. Was at the edge of my seat at the end there. Definitely worth the binge. I see why it was so popular in Germany and U.K.

I just watched American Vandal all the way through on Netflix. One of the most laugh out loud funny shows I've seen just because of how seriously all of the characters treat everything.

I've been meaning to binge this forever, keep getting stuck in season 1. On like episode 5. If I could just make it past the season I hear so many good things about it.

    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
    • Exactly correct.   I was absolutely certain about the penalty (none here), but the bit about where they play from can be really confusing the first time you read it.  In my big paper rule book, i used colored highlighters to make it clear.  Good thing I did, at the Cascades there's little to no cell service, so using the rules app on the phone wasnn't possible.
    • Taking a crack it, but looks pretty clear. 11.1  Ball in Motion Accidentally Hits Person or Outside Influence. a. No Penalty to Any Player If a player’s ball in motion accidentally hits any person (including the player) or outside influence: There is no penalty to any player. This is true even if the ball hits the player, the opponent or any other player or any of their caddies or equipment. Reading further down it looks like they have to play the ball as it lies. No replay from the previous spot.
