@Shindig and @No Mulligans I think we'd have to get at least 12 total to make the trip feasible for them. So let's try and round up some interest and see how many people we can find who want to putt better.

Highly unlikely it's a "them" scenario for 12 golfers. The math doesn't work out. You started another thread though so I'll post there when I see it.

Very glad to hear you enjoyed your class, @isukgolf .

You can't really learn it from a video. But you knew that

My quote is from about a year ago. That said, I stand by it in the context. I've since repeated that you won't truly "get" all of AimPoint Express watching it in a video. That's still my opinion.

Since you have access to take the class, take the class.

First day with a on course implementation ... I went from guessing... To rolling it close on long putts ... And in on short putts ... Well worth every penny. It's funny becuase get my feel and then my point ... A couple of times on longer putts, I though no f'ing way my mark is that far from the hole ... Only to roll up next to the hole for a tap in ... I am hooked!

The AimPoint forum moved to The Facebook, btw.

Is that the AimPoint Golf Students group or the AimPoint Technologies group?

I tend to look at the DVD a bit like my Evolvr classes!  So, the reason I went with Evolvr is because I kept forgetting what I was being taught by the pros teaching me.  With Evolvr it's in a video and I can go back and relearn everything whenever I need it.

With this video for Aimpoint it has helped me in much the same way.  Once I figured out a few things about how far to stand around the ball when I put my fingers up and the calibration I have been MUCH better at it.

The benefit of it is that you have a video so you can't forget.

Mike Dynda taught me the midread very well but it was a long time ago and I forgot a bunch of the Nuance that's why this was helpful to me!

look at it like Evolvr and you will want both!

I don't practice putting much because my full swing practice pretty much dominates my practice and whereas I could probably get better at putting if I practiced what I learned form AimPoint, but just the knowledge itself is so helpful.  I cringe to think where my putting would be if I hadn't taken the class.

It would probably look a lot like mine.

Post Aimpoint Express 1 and 2 classes - Such a great help in lining up putts.  As said earlier, it really helps!  I don't quite get the "reading the slope with my feet" thing yet, but my Aimpont teacher _ Sean Lanyi at Black Gold in Orange County Ca offered a class audit, so I'm going back for a complimentary session Saturday.  Looking forward to it!!

Just trying to find my way around

    • the rules have changed, but this would fall under 11.2 in the current rules.  General Penalty to any player who deliberately deflects a ball in motion, and you must replay the putt.
    • Day 250 4-29 Getting chest through with speed on downswing and wrist arch. Also worked on some moving the pelvis slightly away in the backswing. Feel like im going too fast and long, looks like it on the recordings too.
    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
