I've been doing 531 since Thanksgiving.  Well, my version of it.  I do 2 main lifts per session with a focus on of the lifts with assistance work, so I can get each of the 4 main lifts 2x a week.  I also do some assistance work for the main focus lift.  I've also dusted off the Super Speed sticks with my swing speed radar to do at the end.

Today is:

Bench press: 5@40%, 5@50%, 3@60%, 5@65%, 5@75%, 5@85%, plus some joker sets if I'm up for it.

Overhead press: 5@40%, 5@50%, 3@60%, 5@65%, 5@75%, 5@85%

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BP assistance work

Paused BP: 5@40%, 5@50%, 3@60%, 5@65%

Narrow BP: 5@40%, 5@50%, 3@60%, 5@65%

Farmer's walks

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Super speed golf workout

Feet together- 5@green RandL, 5@blue RandL, 5@red RandL

Normal swing- 5@green RandL, 5@blue RandL, 5@red RandL

Step change- 5@green RandL, 5@blue RandL, 5@red RandL

Recently I started a 6-day a week workout program. Days 1&4 are cardio, days 2&5 are resistance training, and days 3&6 are yoga. My cardio workout is on an elliptical machine in the garage. The resistance training is done to YouTube workouts using resistance tubes with resistances of 20 lbs. - 150 lbs., and yoga is also YouTube videos tailored specifically for golf.

Today my workout is 30 minutes of cardio in the morning and putting training after work. For putting, I create a 3-foot circle around a hole with 8 tees. I putt until I make 16 consecutive putts. I then move the tees back a foot and putt until I make 8 consecutive. I then lag putt into the 4-foot circle from 30, 40, and 50 feet.

After that I putt around the practice green twice, Par 2 and pull back each putt 3 feet.

Workout everyday but just don't feel like posting them all.  The last 20 minutes of today's class was a mile run followed by doing 7 burpees and 15 sit-ups on the odd round then 14 burpees and 30 sit-ups on the even rounds.

Managed the run and 6 rounds complete in 20 minutes.

I don't like to workout just to workout.   I find it extremely boring.   Yesterday our Meetup group played street hockey in 90º temps for about 2 hours.   I think I got in a pretty good workout.

I've been throwing around a kettle bell for about a half hour every couple days for a pretty nice workout.  Simple stuff like cleans, overhead presses, and squats.  I look up some new moves every once in awhile.  Nice core, cardio, and full body workout.
