Your pic just reminded me of the course I played earlier in the year.      ;-)

I know where I'd like to retire. Beautiful image.

I spent several summers in Hendersonville, NC as a kid and it's a different world. My wife and I have considered relocating to Western SC in another 10 years. I think they refer to the area as the foothills of the Appalachians. I had to check out the golf courses in that state. Seems to be an abundance of them.

The well-defended green slopes from left to right. Standing watch in the distance, the Lone Fir is the only tree on the course.

Beautiful!

I always wanted to play Anaconda. Nice shot of those signature bunkers

The view from the top of the hill(3rd tee) 20160912_030217.jpg at Bridge of Allan Scotland,  my dad's course so I have some fantastic memories playing that track.  Maybe not the best course in the world but certainly has a special place in my heart.

wow.  Golf courses are really outstanding works of art.  I think someone else eluded to it, but I can't think of another sport where you have the opportunity to be exposed to so much beauty while playing.

Here is a shot of my home course.  This is from the T at #9 at Camas Meadows in the Vancouver WA area.  Thats Mt. Hood in the background.  I'm new to golf and have only played here twice.  I'm booked for Monday, so I'll try to take a few more.

Here are a couple more from my home course - Camas Meadows

From the clubhouse looking up #18 fairway.  #18 is a tricky one at 427 from the white T's.  It is a dogleg to the left which turns at around 200 yds, so getting to the turn on your T shot is pretty straight forward.  Then you have another 200'ish yds to the green.  Most people choose to lay up to the water hazard then a wedge to the green.... on in three makes for a tough putt :)

And then my wife on the fairway on #14 (I think)

I was post #4 on this thread back in 2012 and at the time had 5,000 golf course photos on my webshots page. Webshots shortly thereafter closed down. I now have 18,000 golf course photos on my Flickr page. Check it out./ Course are listed alphabetically except that the first few are the most recent ones I've photographed.

Because everyone gets bored of blue skies now and again! Crazy winds and serious mood-lighting! First hole has the signature lighthouse behind the green and a great linksy fairway, second is a 114 yard par three that played about 140 yesterday.
