You have to wonder what would have happened if Phil had taken his medicine on 4 and reteed, instead of hacking it around in the bushes. As good as he is, he might have gotten out of there with a four instead of a six, and been in the playoff. Chamblee went on and on this morning about how Phil has won more Masters than Tiger in the last few years because he is fearless, but between this and his blowing the US Open at Winged Foot, I think there's a very fine line between "fearless" and "reckless." Bad break for Oostie getting that albatross; it probably threw him off his game. :-)

THey should put a plaque on the ground there.

I'd love to actually know that I could walk to the exact spot if ever I go there.

I would bet that next year, every player will walk down there during their first practice round to have a look.

I must say this year on tour has been fantastic! Congrats to Bubba I jumped out of my seat when he pulled of that snap hook at 10. Just a thing of beauty!

Funny, Tiger hit dozens of snap hooks and no one was jumping out of their seats. Except the people that his ball was flying towards. :-P

I loved how Bubba said in his post-tournament interview that he and Tiger play some practice rounds together and heckle each other. Tiger used to tell Bubba that the only W Bubba would have was in his name. Bubba would fly it past Tiger's ball and say, "I know you wish you could hit it like that."
