I take it off for chips and putts. I've always practiced chipping and putting at home without a glove so I just got used to the feel and don't wear a glove around the green.

Best Regards,
Ryan

I take it off after every shot. And for putting/chipping.

I can't stand having my left hand all white, and my right hand all dark and tan!!!!

I take the glove off whenever I have a shot that requires more feel.  Basically, it's from less than 75 yds because my 60 degree wedge goes about 80 yds.  I do it because I think it'll help me with less than full swing shots.  Just my opinion.

I do the exact same thing for the exact same reasons.

I try to remember to take my off around the green....I'd say I'm about 50/50 to actually take it off during a round...

Lately I'm lucky I remember to take it off for putting, usually when I see the white glove on my hand while lining the putt up I go oops and take it off

I've tried taking it off for putting but usually I forget and end up leaving it on the entire round.

I'm tired of getting slivers in my hands from flagsticks. So I just keep my glove on and pull/replace the flagstick with my gloved hand.

It may be a poor reason, but it's my reason (for now).

Take it off for putting. If it's really hot and sweaty out,I'll take it off between shots.

Putting only. I like using a glove for chipping, because once I get midway through a round taking a glove off can lose some traction between my hand and the grip due to sweat and humidity. For putting, though, I feel like removing the glove helps maintain a better touch. I can't say I have proof I putt better without the glove, though.
I take it off after every shot.  I find that in hot weather down here in FL it helps me keep the glove dry which helps my game and extends the life of the glove too.
Yep, same here. Especially if I'm playing with others and sharing carts where there's a bunch of waiting between shots.

Anyway, I leave it on all round. Seems like one less thing to think about and I don't feel it effects my putting touch. For me putting is all about feeling the ball get to and into the hole, if I can feel and visualize the roll, it usually rolls well, maybe not in but close.

I take it off between shots, as well as when I'm on the putting green. I keep it for chipping, though if I found a suitable line to draw I might take it off for chipping as well. (I.e. what constitutes a chip/pitch? Less than 50 yards? 30? That kind of thing would drive me crazy.)

Jack Nicklaus, no putting slouch, wore the glove all the time.  Check some UTube videos of Jack and see for yourself.  Why wear it?  Why take it off? It's all habit, nothing more.

I never take it off.  once its on, its on.  even for putting.....Ive' gotten so used to it, that putting without it, I'm actually worse.  I go thru a lot of gloves that way, but oh well.

I don't wear a glove but I did replace my grips with Gripmaster leather grips.  They are sticky.  When they start to lose their stickiness wipe it with a wet towel dry it an it is sticky again!

My hands sweat a lot and a glove becomes a mess after a few holes.

mine comes off inside 100 yards. i practice my short game without a glove so its just something i'm used to...and definitely putting...it just never feels right putting with it on.
