Up against the face in a fried egg.  Woods looked like he was thinking about playing out sideways.  The TV wonks were discussing that he should take an unplayable.  It sounded like LaCava made a comment about Oleson making a similar shot yesterday, so Tiger tried it.  The ball ricocheted back, almost hit him and wound up right up against the left edge.  He barely got the next shot out and then proceeded to three putt.

Adam is continuing to play great today, controlled and aggressive at the same time!  But tired of hearing how "Tiger just isn't the same as he was a few years ago" or similar comments every poor shot he makes.....we know!!! Say something new, we've been hearing the same thing for nearly 2 years now.....how about some "constructive criticism" for Gmac since he is +4 for the day in the final group and Tiger is "only" +3 on the day.  (I am a Tiger fan but also having nothing against Gmac either , just an observation!)

I was amazed at Azinger's lack of knowledge of the rules of golf as he was stating that Tiger should take an unplayable lie and drop outside the bunker. This is a former tour player who makes a living announcing professional golf. You would think that he would have at least a basic grasp of the rules of the game.

Two peeves with announcers (both Strange this week, I think): - "I remember when I (fill in the blank)...." I just don't like it and I don't care, especially when it comes from Curtis. At least when Faldo makes comments like that, he has the past record to back it up. I'll concede that Strange was a decent player, but he sometimes talks like he was much better than he ever was. - Re: Scott/McDowell being on the clock: "Doesn't really matter...it's not like their holding anyone up." His implication, seemed to me, was that putting them on the clock was silly. Yes, it does matter. There's no reason the last group should have a time advantage and be able to take however long they want to play shots. Just my pair of pennies......
