I hear you. I've been wearing some really, really uncomfortable Nike golf shoes for the past 2 years. They were on sale and discontinued and I couldn't find them in Wide, so I had to go with the narrow fit and that is just uncomfortable as hell. Haven't been able to convince my wife to let me splurge on a new pair yet so this would be a super nice Christmas in August!
