It looks like there is a nice county course nearby there.  Highland Woods.

How clearly marked are the bathrooms there? :-D

At the range for lunch today.  Gave myself two shots at each angle to see if I am sticking with it or regressing.  Pretty happy for the most part.  Head dipping back in the FO video...back to work.  Hitting the ball much higher and farther.  Miss is now a slight little push cut.

GOOD stuff. Very nice.

Nice work. I'd be happy if I got to your "before" swing though. Haha.

Played 18 today.  Things were working pretty well for not playing any real golf in about two weeks.  I have been to the range about twice a week though working on things.  I think I am about ready to shut it down for the year as far as trying to learn anything new.  I am still ingraining the new downswing move and want to keep working on it until I cannot get it wrong ever again.  That could mean all winter.  For not having any warmup swings I played OK today.  The irons were very accurate.  Only one overdraw on the course and one push with the irons.  I had a couple wedge shots that I pushed and one that I even shanked.  I am still getting used to the new wedges, so that could be part of it but it worries me a bit as this is usually the strongest part of my game.  I also had a couple longer wood shots that I pushed badly as well.  I might know what is causing this.  I am not sure but I may need to feel more speed with the the right hand with the downswing move.  When I do this I do not seem to lose those shots out to the right.  I am guessing I need to improve the relation of the arms and the left side in the downswing to correct the start line.

Probably my last upload for the season to evolvr.  The range closes on Sunday.  Just going to keep working on the hips and the exit through the winter.  I need to give it a lot more time to really be to the point where I cannot get it wrong.  Some things to improve upon here.  Got a new camera to record swings with.  Liking how it looks.

Looking good!  Completely different A6 than a few months ago.  Only thing I would watch is making sure the right foot isn't too flared out.

Awesome progress Nathan! You have made huge improvements since starting this thread. What are your practice plans for the winter? Do you have any indoor options? I expect to make more progress over the winter than I did during the season because it will be easier to focus on making changes without the distraction of...well...playing golf. Lol. If you are planning on working through the winter I hope you'll keep this thread up to date. Participation on this forum will drop off in the off season so it will just be us hardcore nut jobs posting, gotta keep the content fresh!

Thanks, I have been working very hard this year.

Thanks, yes with what Erik and Dave had me do with the hips it has really helped the oversliding problem and also improved A6 and A7 a ton.  Very, very, very happy with what we worked on out there.  The DTL view in the above video is a good reminder for me of how much I really need to feel the speed of the move.  I did not do it quite enough in that angle and the exit is suffering just a bit I would say.   I will watch that right foot and try to keep it from flaring out so much.  I had noticed that I was exaggerating that a bit and was not sure if it could be problematic, so I will watch that more closely.

Thanks EJ.  Your dedication is something that keeps me wanting to work hard on the swing as well.  The winter for me is going to be intersting.  I am not sure what I can do yet.  There is an indoor place with simulators that I am hoping I can possibly join a league there over the winter.  I usually get out on my lunch break at work to a nearby range which is closing Sunday.  The closest heated one I that is open during the winter is about 30 minutes away, which I will probably not be able to swing.  I was thinking about setting up a mat that I can hit ball into a curtain here at work, but our shop is usually pretty full.  I am not sure yet what will work out.  I will do my best to stay active but having a second position I have to now handle added on at work is making it tough.   And as long as I don't make any more posts that end with tick, tick, tick, I am sure I should stay fairly active. ;-)

Could have you turn the hips too much on the backswing, rare imo.  Issues I've seen are staying closed too long on the downswing, effects the ankle mobility.

Thank you.  That would work against what I am trying to correct so we don't want to go there.  I will make sure I am more aware of that, and hopefully I can improve the hips even more.

Hi Cipher, Swing looks really really good. What is your priority piece you are working on? I don't want to distract you from that.

I can find very little in the face on view. In your DTL I notice your exit is a bit high. This may lead to overdraws or pull draws. I struggle with this as well. Is this something you are working on?

mchepp, I am still working on this into A7. You are right about the exit, and right now I am probably feeling the vertical extension into the follow through sometimes too much and not enough around. That DTL swing was not one of my better ones that day for sure. That being said it is not a huge priority for me at the moment. The better I do the hips generally the better the image you picked out there looks. You can see here from when I was in Erie that with the hips in a better more open position at that point the hands follow and the picture is better. http://youtu.be/Woq3MYF3n_A Thanks for pointing it out because that shows a little bit about what I was hinting at with the exit earlier and is a good visual for me to keep tabs on while I work on the hips. It tells me if I am doing it enough I think. How the hands initiate in the downswing and how they exit with the club are two things I have to isolate, probably next, after I have the hips where they need to be. I really enjoy your swing by the way. Thanks for posting and for the great visual reference.
