I've seen all of the movies mentioned above, lol. These aren't exactly famous, but well known... somewhat.

  • The Seventh Seal
  • Cleo from 5 to 7
  • Harold and Maude

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), par. Not at all what I thought it was going to be, but in some ways better. In other ways… weirder. 🙂

Up in the Air (2009), with George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, and Anna Kendrick.

I give it a par. I'd seen it before, but I didn't remember much. Maybe I watched it falling asleep one time or something. Good acting, low-key solid story. Interesting if unusual main guy (Ryan Bingham).

Revolutionary Road, bogey.

I can't blame the acting. DiCaprio may be the best of his time. And I "get" what the idea was here, I think: to show a semi-ordinary life. But that's the thing - an ordinary life is boring, and I was bored by this movie. So much so that I turned it off 2/3 of the way through and read the rest of what happened on Wikipedia.

Oh hell I just saw this! This is such a creative piece. Awesome!

Yeah, but Captain America ATE A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I liked the movie a lot.

I don't think it's quite the social commentary that people make it out to be.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

It was also super freaking depressing.

ZS Justice League. If you have 4 hours, HBO Max and like comic book movies this will be a 20 foot birdie. I enjoyed what was presented. Far superior than the one released a few years ago.

I had to split it up into two segments, but yeah, despite Snyders tendency for slo-mo I thought this was much better than the other version.  Cyborg probably gained the most from this cut.

Had a chance to watch Sunshine again for the first time in a long while.  Easy par from me.

The 13th Warrior .  Birdie.  I haven't seen this one in a while.  It's a very solid flick for me.  It's just somewhat lacking in a certain something to make it a classic.  It's up there with Desperado as one of my favorite Antonio Banderas movies.  Plus, who doesn't love Vikings with English and Irish accents?

    • First - glad to see these popping up again. Now to the topic at hand - I would rather be option 1.  If I know how far it's going (I mean a yard or two) I can always play to the wider parts of the fairway and/or the green and still do reasonably well.  Now if I could just really hit the "number" that well.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 25) - Long day of driving to dr appt with son.  Thankfully got in one of my fave putting drills (two ball side by side) - the goal to have both balls come off the putter face equally by having them come off the putter face as close to the same time as possible.  First few rolls - the toe was leading the way as that ball flew off the face.  By the end of the drill both balls were basically equal off the face, rolling to within a couple of inches of each other.  Nice drill of focusing on squaring the face.  BTW - I was using the old Odyssey DF992.
    • Day 161 - 2025-03-10 Got a decent, long session in. Focused mostly on the backswing feels, and moved on toward the end of the four hours (not all hitting balls, I installed a motion sensing light switch in there too, and worked with a student over FaceTime for a bit) on the downswing feel.
    • Day 31: 3/10/25 Backswing drills with the ProSendr. Reinforcing iron play from yesterday.
    • I wrote up a response as a YouTube comment that I won't be posting on YouTube. What an absolute load of garbage. Your arm doesn't "slingshot" or "bounce" - you use the muscles in your arm to move your arm and throw the baseball. In one video you've managed to get roughly five areas of science almost completely backward. At best, your video sets up a straw man as nobody is telling golfers to do anything like what you show when you're demonstrating a "bad tennis player." The golfers you see on your lesson tee must be from a completely different world than almost anyone else on Earth, because most golfers do something more like what you prefer to teach - their arms are too passive for too long, they stay "up" too long, and are carried out toward the ball from the top. From there, they stall their pivot, often early extending while right tilting to TRY to not swing 15° left. You know… we have ways of measuring these things these days, but you're still stuck with a poor understanding of how the golf swing works and are peddling it to some unsuspecting and unfortunate souls. But, I know… you teach "athletes." I hope for your sake that's just code for "dumb" because anyone with even a room temperature IQ understands that there's nothing truly "effortless" about the golf swing.
