Would you ride the Golfboard?

Any surfers or snowboarders on the site will appreciate this. I think it looks pretty slick.

Pretty Cool !!!

Would like to see a means of placing or mounting the golf bag on the back of the board.

Mainly for safety and it would make the product more feasible to ride for many.

A tumble could lead to injury and or, damage to clubs with the clubs over the shoulder.

It would also give the person better reaction to regain balance under situations.

The other thing which would occur on occasion, if it could be designed to have a dual feature of becoming a pull cart when required to travel over certain terrain or up steep inclines, etc.

Thanks for sharing.

Cool product, would definitely attract the younger generation of golfers.  I can definitely see Rickie Fowler on it, not so sure about Phil.  As for use at regular clubs, I see too much potential for abuse and injury.  Some guy throws his staff bag on his back, hops on, hits a hill or pot hole too fast and launches himself.

This made me laugh.

Former skater here. Looks fun but I don't see a cooler or cup holders.

Good point!

@newtogolf - I don't see where the potential of abuse and injury is any greater than for a cart. If it was left to you would you outlaw these because you think they are unsafe? Maybe we ought to stop trying be protect us from ourselves because none of us is smart enough to do it.......

@clubrat - You obviously did not look at both videos. It comes with an optional bag holder.

I'm terrible at snowboarding, but I actually think it looks kind of fun. Is it designed for goofy only though? The guy in the first video was using it right-foot-forward.

"Don't attempt to jump sandtraps, even if it seems tempting..." :-D

I would definitely use this product! (with the bag holder and handlebar, with dual cup holders mounted).

Golf and boarding at the same time, who would have thought? :-) :-) :-)

My reaction as an ex skater, snakeboarder and snowboarder?

"Wow that looks really very cool; I'd happily... $3495?!?!? Are you INSANE?"

But from the perspective of a golf club adding these to existing carts for members to hire I see the appeal. :-)

My guess is it will come down, but I figured it's the golf courses that would purchase them.

As a former skateboarder, absolutely. I'd take it over a golf cart any day. Is it worth that much? No.

I don't see any straps...I assume you can just switch stances at any time.

Yeah - falling off a plank with wheels isn't going to be added to them.  If I ever was to get a standup cart, I'd have a Segway.
