Ugly ugly forecast for the Denver and foothills area this weekend.

3"-4" of rain or up to 30" of snow if the temps drop enough...

Yep, and I have my first tournament of the year on Saturday. Rare that I root for golf to be canceled, but I'd prefer that to playing in 40 degrees and rain.

There's also no way we get 30" of snow. It's been too warm recently for that. It will definitely start as rain, and even when it changes over to snow, it will take a while to accumulate. That said, I wouldn't be too surprised if we got a foot.

March and April are about the only two months of the year where I consider moving away. I really hate the schizophrenic weather.

The courses are just starting to open up in Northern Michigan. If I get out of work on time, I'm going straight to the course tomorrow.

If my practicing is any indication the round won't be pretty, but I don't even care. Bad golf is better than no golf.

Great week and weekend here.... Unfortunately tweaked my back in the gym so no golf for me...

Played yesterday and playing today but it's not ideal.  Front 9 it's still cold and the course is just starting to defrost.  By the time you get to the back nine the conditions are decent but the greens are inconsistent hole to hole.

I played Tuesday and Wednesday to make sure I could get some golf in this week.

The forecast seems to be changing more and more to snow.  Its a shame because the courses are looking so good already.

It's been too chilly here on Long Island, the temps say 40's but the wind chill is still too taxing.

But this weekend looks like the beginning of real golf weather, so I'm going out, same exact weekend as last year too, strange.

Ended up with about 18 inches of snow from this storm in my backyard. Hopefully, it melts and doesn't wash out next weekend.

Woohoo grass range in shorts and t-shirt. Golf season is on!

Sorry @DeadMan, at least it's good for your reservoirs, yes?

Oh, yeah, it's really beneficial moisture overall. Just annoying that it had to fall on a weekend, and that it had to fall as snow.

Fortunately I'm on a business trip so I missed all the snow. But they tell me we got 30 inches at Evergreen.

I hope they melt by this weekend.

Really hope this snow melts off fast... Want to get back out there and play.

I feel for you guys and those in Texas, 10" of rain is a lot of rain over a few days.

Here it is April 19th and I'm wishing the mowing of the fairways was better, but the ground is still too wet in many areas to properly mow them. Another course has their main grounds keeper in the hospital. Nevertheless it is what it is. I'm just thankful that I have had the opportunity to get out and play 6 times at 3 different courses already. Yet I wish the fairways were in better shape. I sure do miss the added distance I would get on drives because of roll after ball carry. Now they are calling for rain on Thursday and Friday which doesn't help. Well at least tomorrow (Wed) looks like it will be rain free and probably the driest day of the year thus far so I will have to make sure I get out and play tomorrow.

The snow melted quickly and I am playing Fox Hollow this afternoon!

First chance I have had to play out there, I hear it's awesome.
