I maintain that it wasn't a choke. He just got incredibly unlucky to hit a small railing.

I know phil and tiger isnt playing but still.I guess that shows why the united states dont do good in ryder cup style golf.I would really like to see fowler win but just dont see that happening.I see jason day winning this tourney.He came close last yr.

This is high school-ish but Dubuisson makes me think of statistics and Mary Jane at the same time.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Yes it was.  Though trading for halves when both are out a ways is really just a split.  It was a "cool" and then a 'so what' moment for me.  I'd like to see a pairing just trade a hole at the tee box just to really get the stupid commentary going.

Even today, one of the announcers is still whining about it.  It's really annoying.  This guy is totally anal retentive about it and won't stop.

The announcers are complete dead weight.  It's no better than listening to big break commentary.  "It's very important in this situation for the player to try to make hit shot....."  I've to hear one say, "in match play, you want to shank one into the gallery to really put on the pressure"

I think I'll hit mute and put circus music on in the background.

I'm split here on the remaining players to finish and win - between Ernie and Jason.

Jason Day defeats Ricky Fowler. Couple bad putts by Ricky at the end. Oh well, he played excellent this week.

I imagine we'll see Victor vs Jason in the final. So they play another round RIGHT after this for the finals? My tv guide says 1pm CT time.

But you can catch a replay of the final at 6pm on Golf Channel apparently.

That Frenchie really hammers the ball. There's so much about him that I want to hate, like his stupid Frenchie/euro visor and his stupid Frenchie/euro hair and his tight Frenchie/euro shirts, but for some reason I like him. Go figure.

      OK - I think we should narrow down a weekend, and start there.  We're going to try to do this in June. I've created a Doodle poll where everyone can vote for the options that work for them.  Please include your username so I can track/post results.       Hole in one is nice, but those low rounds stick in my memory better. I have two holes in one (and a third on a pitch and putt course which I count as a half). I've shot in the 60s three times in the last 10 years or so and I remember each one pretty well. I'd take the low round.

      Would You Rather #68: Would you rather make a hole-in-one on a perfectly struck shot, during a round where you otherwise played pretty poorly.  or  Would you rather play well all day and beat your personal best by let's say 3 strokes, but with no eagles.    I'd take option 2.   Although option 1 is always exciting, and rewarding. playing well all day is very exciting because I can also do the opposite.
