Impossible to predict. Doubt it will be DJ, but could someone come along (or already be here) and go on a tear? Sure. Purses and opportunities (including Fedex Cup, Wyndham, etc.) are bigger than they were during Tiger's early streaks.

I don't know that it will be 5 years, but if I was betting, I wouldn't be afraid of betting 10 years out.

And yes, this assumes Tiger earns a relatively modest amount from here on out, which is not an unreasonable prediction.

Tiger still drives purse size on the PGA tour. Once he is really done purses will probably shrink a little unless another crossover type of star emerges. And i don't see one right now. So it might take a little longer for someone to break tigers earrings record than alot of people think. I don't think anyone is getting past him while he still plays on tour. We're likely taking 15 or more years from now.
