Good news for Kuchar: there's no water on 18 this week.

Gosh dang it Matty!! Bubba is pulling everything off the tee. Speith with his first solid drive of the day though with a hybrid. He really looked like he was going to crap his pants after the putt on two. I think he's going to Rory this one.

Bubba makes a mental mistake on 3. Sometimes length is an advantage, but sometimes the advantage is getting to hit a lesser club to the same spot.

Ricky Fowler's swing looks the same after Butch. But he seems to have a move he's rehearsing to stop his signature takeaway.

Sorry, first time looking at his new swing really for the purpose of seeing what might have changed, and I just looked at it in real time on TV, so I didn't exactly slow anything down for nuance differences. Just arm chair quarterbacking here.

I would like to think he's sitting at home grinding his gears about not being able to play let alone win. Building up the anger. He always seemed to play better when he had a little anger going. (I mean that in a good way.)

Yeah I think if he is watching he'll use it to motivate himself.

BTW it'd be funny to have the winner and the low amateur be the same age. Goss is 20.

      Played around with this a bit. Not getting the spin up. This was even on a green that is pretty severely sloped towards me, clean lie, and a soft green. Maybe higher spin is just not my thing.

      Why are they showing almost every shot by Theegala? Burmester also gets a lot of TV time. Then suddenly someone at +2 or -1 missing a putt. At least throw in a shot now and then from the others in the top 20.

      I'll poke a dead horse here. I like chipping, always have. However, if its a relatively clean roll I'll putt. I choke down just a bit, in my head I'm taking a little flex out of the shaft seems to stay on line better because I usually need to give it some horsepower to get it rolling good. I had about a 20 yard or so chip in to save par the other night in league night. That was the end of my 4 hole even par stretch. All down hill after that.
