I hit the G30, Titleist 913 and the SLDR.  The G30 and Titleist were about the same for me in terms of carry and distance.  I did not like the sound of the SLDR at impact.

Got my G30 tomorrow. It looks great! Clubface not overly closed (or necessarily even closed at all, sorry, I mean it looks pretty darn square unlike many drivers).

The top turbulators frame the ball nicely. Subtle enough to look great, but obvious enough to look cool too.

Got my G30 tomorrow. It looks great! Clubface not overly closed (or necessarily even closed at all, sorry, I mean it looks pretty darn square unlike many drivers).

The top turbulators frame the ball nicely. Subtle enough to look great, but obvious enough to look cool too.

I'm hoping to get one myself before the outting next week.

I went through an hour and a half yesterday getting fitted for the g30 driver, only to find out that I couldn't get the specific build for me for 3 to 4 weeks. Spent another 20 minutes getting fitted for the bio cell plus and ended up with better overall numbers and they had it in stock. I didn't see that coming but I'm pretty happy. Look forward to hearing how you do with your new set though. What shaft did you end up with? I was fitted with the tour stiff 80g, the head for mine was 9* though.

Ping Web-Fit has me in a G30 SF Tec 12 in a Tour 65 Regular... I think the SF Tec was suggested because I preferred a draw flight.

We'll see what the simulator says since no outside demo days are scheduled in my area.

      Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.

      This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score

      Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage.       Things that I am or have worked on... 1.    Trail Elbow - Check 2.    Hip Turn - Check 3.    Rolled Inside - Check 4.    Wide Takeaway - Check 5.    Sway and Tilt - Nope, but I did a hip turn and tilt 🤣 I am giving myself 4.5/5 for my long backswing.  Great post!

      We have a very difficult but mostly showy course this week. Lets see what they got. This course offers so many chances to get into trouble it is really a mental minefield. I am excited to see who can handle it and who cant. Last year we got a foreshadowing of JJ and Rory, I am excited for this year Who do people have winning? what will the winning score be? I am thinking 12 or 13 under
