So, seeing as now the NE Golf Outing seems stalled (hi @jamo and @Valleygolfer ), @colin007 and I decided to play a round yesterday and call it the Albany Golf Outing!

Much fun was had even if the scores didn't reflect it (and boy, were they awful).

We did get a chance to video tape on shot off the tee for the fun of it.

This one is Colin's:

And because Colin couldn't figure out how to use the camera on his phone, we had to take a video of my swing on a different hole which also allowed me the chance to have some fun with him.  Here's mine:

I think next year's NE outing should be in Albany again. ;) BTW, for those that were wondering, I did arrive in a sweet ride. :D

Don't give up on this year.  What about in the Fall?

What was that corded thing on your waist? And why didn't you give us an option to come to the Albany shin dig.

Haha, that's cord attached to my rangefinder.

Blame @colin007 - he texted me the evening before and was like, "you want to play tomorrow?"

I thought he was on a plane to Italy at the time.

However, that said, we do plan on playing again and would be more than happy to set something up if there's an interest.

I think he gets back at the end of next week.

They only filmed the best holes, or to put it another way, the A-holes.

Haha, to be honest, that was my best drive of the day.  Nice, straight, and long.

The rest of them were very scary. :surrender:

      Went to a PING fitting day today. Going to be ordering a G430 Max 3w with a 75g x-stiff shaft at 5w length and a 3h. I forget what my fitter did with the shaft on that but she told me she’s going to email the club the specs of everything. The 3w combination we found pretty quickly. As for the hybrid, we tried a bunch of different head and shaft combinations for that distance with mixed results. Then she handed me the 3h and I took three swings with it and knew it was the one.

      That’s quite a generalization. It’s clear that you don’t like water but there are plenty of us that drink it just fine. My daily intake is usually about 20oz of black coffee, 16oz of soda, 8oz of milk mixed into a protein shake, and anywhere between 30-60oz of water. It doesn’t even need to be cold and I kind of prefer it closer to room temperature than cold. I quite like the taste of tap water, with sole exception being the tap water at Magic Kingdom (it’s terrible). I can’t stand when people bring me tap water with a lemon wedge in it. I didn’t ask for lemon in my water.

      This is the part I don’t get. He’s not even kind of sandbagging, he’s blatantly doing it and submitting scores that are verified to be incorrect. How he’s not banned from competition is beyond me.
