I'm a bit intrigued ... just really don't like the name.  Xtreme screams "short-lived" and "gimmick" to me.  If it was just the irons with that name, that would be fine, but the company should just call themselves Parsons Golf.

I'm partial to Parsons Project. :-)

PXG 0311 irons & wedges are now available at all Cool Clubs locations

http://golfweek.com/news/2015/may/20/parsons-xtreme-golf-equipment-pxg-irons-wedges/

Quote:

The PXG 0311 irons and wedges are forged with an open face body. The company mills the cavity before a thin, HT1770 maraging steel face is plasma-welded to the chassis, creating a hollow area between the body and the face insert. That void is filled with a thermoplastic elastomer, which PXG says provides structural stability

To the sweet tune of $300 per club

Good luck to them.

Definitely a luxury item that someone like Cool Clubs can sell.

They also might want to try overseas, as in Japan. If they buy Honma, they might buy  these.

It perhaps comes as no surprise what golfer will be the latest paid endorser for upstart golf company Parsons Xtreme Golf, whose founder Bob Parsons was also the man behind GoDaddy.com.
Parsons announced today that one-time LPGA player, model and recent MBA graduate of the Columbia Business School Anna Rawson, a former "GoDaddy.com Girl," will be a spokesperson for the new equipment brand. (The company provided the above image attached to the press release announcing the signing.)

More PXG news.

To produce a softer feel, quieter sound and more distance, Parson's Golf injected thermoplastic elastomer, or TPE, into a hollow-bodied iron.

All I see there is an iron with a VERY thick topline.

I think it's good for golf for smaller boutique companies to enter market with unique designs.  I'm guessing there won't be a lefty version so it's nice to look at but won't ever be an option for me to consider.

Right, definitely not a "blade" looking iron at address. More like an AP2/i25 than a MB/S55.
