Whistling Straits is one bad ass golf course!

Yeah, one of my favorites. I love it.

That was a huge moment right there. HUGE moment. Great putt by Spieth.

Rory, oh Rory...if only you would have started stronger. Those two front-9s on Thursday and Friday he played some very uncharacterstically bad golf.

... and Tiger finishes, which was in doubt for me a few hours ago after the injury. Glad to see him play a full tournament ... hope he wins the next time he tees it up.

All in all Tiger performed better than I thought he would. Lots of positives this week compared to how he's done recently. He's definitely still able to win majors if he stays healthy. I hope we'll see him without more injuries this year and see where it gets him.

Tiger: "A bone kinda popped out, and a joint kinda went out of place, but I put it back in."

"Really?"

Tiger: "Yah" (like isn't that what we all do? just put joints back in place mid-round)

"Wow, ok."

Rory beat Tiger by 7 today. Tiger will not win another major. He can't compete with the young guns. BTW, bones don't pop out in your hand and miraculously pop back in. He's in his head and as such, completely done.

Wow, Phil went through a lot of grass with that putt.

Tiger's fine. He hasn't played in a couple of months and since October, was completely retooling his swing... for the fourth time professionally.

Most guys stick with one swing. Tiger likes to challenge himself.

Bones do, in fact, pop out and then back in. I speak from experience. And let's not take one tournament after a nine week layoff as an indicator of the future. Need a bit more evidence. But whatever. Spieth is a monster. What a great player.

Rory always classy.  He and Jordan will have a great rivalry for many years, possibly the next Tiger and Phil.

Rory beat Tiger by 7 strokes when Tiger hasn't competed consistently in a few years now. So, just putting that into perspective a bit. Not like Tiger was in top form going into The Masters.

Yes bones do pop in and out. Heck, my friend had his shoulder dislocated slightly and repop back in before. They do that if enough stress is enough to pull the ligaments enough.

    • Yeah I’ve tried it but I don’t feel very comfortable doing it like that. Isn’t there like a website where I can do it so it’s safer??
    • Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.
    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
