4ft.... I didnt get a free brand new callaway driver bc of a 4ft putt....

well if that 4 footer drops then you have to wait to see what happens tomorrow; so no guarantee of that free driver if it falls

Trying to find an excuse for DJ.

They go to a playoff tomorrow and Spieth probably wins it with clutchness anyway?????????

He tried to win it today and i don't blame him for it... Spieth birdied 18 to win he earned it...

No one caught that Spieth is the first player to birdie 18(that had to) win..l. We'll all be talking about DJ's three-putt until June 16, 2016

Jordan also hit a super 2nd shot on 18 for that birdie. It was a long fairway... 287 and accurate.

Has anyone ever shot 66, 66, 67 over final 3 rounds and not win a us open until today?

Spieth > McIlroy ?

Definitely more consistent....but I wouldn't say better yet . Rory is going to be extremely tough to beat at St. Andrews.

All the buttheads that said they can't stand the tournament and won't watch anymore are probably still watching.. Chambers Bay provided a change.. and true entertainment which is exactly what Golf is for the viewer.

Anyone know off the top of their head how todays results equate to WGR's?

I know early they said Rory would retain #1 spot.

Is 29 a record 9?

No.  I believe Neal Lancaster (of all people) has done it twice.

EDIT--Vijay also did it once.

They said earlier it's the lowest 9 hole round in US Open history.

    • Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.
    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
    • Let's kick off the 2026 Masters talk with… a look back at 2025 (coming soon):
    • Wow, so Europe named Luke for a third term. Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Who will the U.S. name? I hope not Tiger Woods.
    • I am playing Arrowhead for the first time and I am pumped.  What are some things that I need to make sure and appreciate, for those that have played it before and love it? It has been a pretty dry winter so I am expecting rough to be forgiving which is nice and it will be playing much easier than it does in the late summer (I am assuming based on other colorado courses).  What should I make sure to not miss?
