I always wear shorts and just put more clothes on my upper body if it's cool out.  I won't even golf below 50 or maybe 55 so pants are never needed.

I wear shorts if I can get away with it temperature wise. I've worn pants in the past and been fine, but I generally wear workout style swishy pants if it's colder these days. I don't play anywhere with dress codes so it's not an issue.

If it's really chilly to start, I'll wear the pants I bought for Africa, with the zip off legs.  That way I have the best of both worlds. :smartass:

I really don't like the cold and it's rare that I'm too hot so, unless I know it's going to be really warm outside, I'm wearing pants.

Had a pair of these years ago, wore them once - I just found them to be extremely ugly.

I'm not in it for the fashion, I go for comfort.  They are loose, lightweight, and convertible.  That's what I bought them for.  I'll wear something different the next time I'm on the runway. :smartass:

Always blue jeans.

:-P

No, shorts when its over 50 or so and promises to be a nice day. I don't mind being a little chilled in the morning. The main thing is to keep the core warm. I usually have rain pants rolled up in my bag just in case.

Pants when its cooler and looks to be a crappier day.

But, jeans when coming straight from work.

I always wear shorts until the temps get into the 40s.  Sometimes I will put on pants if the temps in the 50s and wind is up or is rainy.  But usually if it is too cold for shorts I go fishing.

I almost never wear shorts. Less sun on legs = less skin cancer risk.

So I don't wear shorts in cool weather, either.

I wear it all the time on my face, neck, and arms.

Pants keep my legs in the shade, which not only helps with the sun, but also helps with the temperature when it's warm.

Come on Rick, it's not how you feel, it's how you look! ;-)

I am just glad that I gained enough weight that they do not fit anymore.

The pull-overs i use now in that weather are not the most stylish clothes I wear, but to my eyes, are much less offensive. I set the bar high with my clothing and my fans expect nothing but the best from me.

Plus 10 on this idea.  Same for me, except worse since i'm in the tropics.  I also nearly always wear gloves right and left for sun protection.

My line of demarcation is 60°. If the expected temperature is expected to be sixty and above, I go for the shorts. Below 60° I'll wear pants.

I'm always hot so I literally never wear pants.  And as long as it's sunny, I'll wear short sleeves and sandals if it's 50, unless it's extremely wet.

It was sunny, breezy and about 57 last Sunday.  I was in shorts, short sleeves, sandals, no hat. I didn't see anybody else on the entire course that didn't have pants, long sleeves, or both.  Just have a high internal heat thing going on.
