Oh man, Zach goes to -15, and Leishman makes a 10 footer to stay at -16. Leishman has 3 holes left, I think. A lot of danger left for him, but fewer places to make mistakes than others.

I don't know about his strategy on 16. It seems like the left side is both a safer line off the tee and a better angle at the pin.

I don't complain much about the rules of golf, but I hate the rule about the ball moving after addressing the ball. It basically penalizes the golfer for something that might have actually not have happened. In all other rules it usually gives the golfer the benefit of the doubt. The line, "The player is deemed to have moved the ball", is just BS to me. If I was putting, and if I didn't feel the the club hit the ball I am taking the stance I am 100% certain I didn't cause it to move.

Read the Rules…

Exception: If it is known or virtually certain that the player did not cause his ball to move, Rule 18-2b does not apply.

Also, the club doesn't have to have touched the ball for the player to cause the ball to move. Consider a ball perched in the rough… you can touch the grass and make the ball move.

Speith has a chance to get to -15 as well.

This is awesome. Leishman could still get to -16 with par-birdie. He could also easily fall out of a playoff with a bad shot on the Road Hole.

Really fun to have it coming down to the last few holes (maybe a playoff) this year. Hasn't been that close the last three Opens at St. Andrews.

Just saw on twitter from Stephanie Wei that the last 10 players on the Road Hole have made 9 bogeys and a double.
