There were grumblings last year about some holes being too treacherous. Couple that with the course's namesake running for POTUS and we should have an interesting week. Great field. It should be fun.

Course view slide show is below.

This should be a good one. The big 3 are all in the field.  I hope at least 2 of them are battling it out. Or one of them and DJ.  I've always pulled for DJ.

He always seems to do well here too, eh?

And speaking of TV coverage ... the shot they've had from that crane just to the right of the 18th fairway of all of the tee shots on the last hole is awesome ... why don't they do that for other holes/courses?

Looking forward to it!

I honestly don't remember how he has done in the past besides last year of course.  He can just make it look so easy when he's hitting on all cylinders. I hope he can get a major before his career is over.

I had to look it up because my memory was vague, but he finish 4th the year before last (when Reed won) and also 2nd in 2011.

Three top 5's in 5 years.  I'd say your definitely right about his track record in this event. I hope it's a close finish.

What do you folks think about the Par 3 9th? The view from the tee looks terrifying unless you go long?

That looks like it could be a good test. Depending on wind direction that could be a great par.

Here is an aerial view from Google Earth. Players on the adjacent tee better pay attention. The bail out direction is long and left.

That is a nice Par 4, wedge it halfway the path, then wedge it close!

Also wondering what the use of the bunker on the left side of the path is.. To prevent left handed shankers from hitting it in the water?

Might be The Donald's helipad. I seem to remember some such nonsense from last year.

I don't think this has been posted yet. Rory has changed his putting grip and going cross-handed hand this week.

Put some good work in the last few days, ready for the blue monster this week!
