After missing two fairways with irons, Phil hits yet another fairway with his driver.  Maybe there's a lesson there.

Driver:  Titleist 915D2.  4-wood:  Titleist 917F2.  Titleist TS2 19 degree hybrid.  Another hybrid in here too.  Irons 5-U, Ping G400.  Wedges negotiable (currently 54 degree Cleveland, 58 degree Titleist) Edel putter.

Another two GIRs ... Phil with the better one.  Birdie attempts upcoming. 

Henrik's birdie attempt was pretty good.  Nice par. 

Phil's wasn't bad either.

Stenson moves ahead again, but both players have responded to every score in the last two days. I have to think this will draw even again before they reach 18.

Stenson isn't missing anything and likely will make another birdie before 18.  Don't know if Phil can do it.  

Callaway XR 9.5 + 1, Taylormade R15 3 Wood, Burner 3 Rescue, Callaway XHot 5H, Warbird 4H, Nike Vapor Fly 6-AW Irons, Titleist Vokey 54, 60 Wedges, Taylormade Rossa Fontana Putter, Srixon Z-Star Tour Yellow.

Best Score 2017:  82 (Traditions at the Glen, Par 70)

Favorite Course - Conklin Players Club (Par 72) - Best Score 86

This is a dominant display by these two, and I think we'll remember and talk about this duel for a long time. This has all the elements of being something historic. Both guys look at the top of their game, and all I know is that this is just special to watch.

I'd probably agree, although the fun thing about this course is that even a decent shot that rolls into one of those bunkers is a probable two-shot swing.
