Listen to the video. Surely I'm not the only one who hears it this way…

Too funny.   Yes, I heard it.   Although I like the NXT.  Best of the second tier balls, IMO.

Not me I think the Velocity plays and feels better. And year I hear ASS. Accurate description I leave 'em lie on the course if I find one.

NXT tours aren't so bad. I use them on waterlogged courses sometimes.

Not terrible, but certainly one of the worst price-to-performance ratios of any ball out there. A mid grade ball they try to sell for the same price as many much better Tour quality balls because it says Titleist on it.

You're probably right. But I fly that thing further than any other ball I've hit, lol. It's a good carry ball on soft courses.

Just discovered Walmart-recycled 15 balls, 19 can. nxt , probably 2 years old. DT solo, probably the same. Srixon ? star XV,  They take a beating. I can't destroy them before they die a watery death.

They feel a bit heavy but seem to match my swing. Good distance, good roll. Good enough on the greens for my game.

I heard it also.  For the price of the 2 piece NXT Tour S you can get two dozen superior balls (e.g. 3 piece Gamer Soft).

100% it says "ass"

I love the NXT Tour. Not the "S" or the ass models, just the regular ones. I buy them used, it's not bad.

I am curious about this ^^^. Was tempted to try them out when the bad weather returns. What do you like about them vs. NXT Tour? Sorry for the potential theadjack..

Maybe they should have a "full moon" sale seeing that the NXT @$$ is the "butt" of our jokes.

    • Day 266 - More putting work, really focused on how my feet are lined up.
    • Day 80: a bunch of mirror work ole watching Michigan lose. Working on grip and downswing feels.
    • Day 5 - 2024-10-05 Hit some somewhat soft pitching wedges. The outside and inside, particularly the outside of the left thumb where my right hand goes on it, is still pretty sore. I don't think I'll do more damage, but I'm reluctant to do too much because I don't want to compensate or alter my motion.
    • Day 156 (05 Sep 24) - Played new to me course today, it’s near our beach place and have been wanting to play it for a couple of years now.  It’s a neat Par 70 that plays just over 6k from the tips, played the whites 5,500 +/-.  Tight fairways and severely undulating greens made for some great shot strategy.  Wound up with an even 80 that included two lost ball penalties.  Putter was solid - 28 total.  Wedge play kept the pars happening - 6 of the 9 pars were up and downs.  Not bad for the first time on a new course.
