There's a used video game store near me that sells used NESes. I always want to buy one but never actually do it because I'm worried it won't work or the games won't work. This might be a good solution...

I think I'll put a hundred hours into the thing. I think some of it is nostalgia, but the games were still good. There's a reason (beyond nostalgia) that people emulate games or buy them on the Wii or whatever.

Games don't need to be super complex (graphically or interface/control) to be entertaining or "great."

I'm pumped for this. CPU emulators, even with a controller, just never felt the same.

I think some NES games would be fun only for a bit (Baseball Stars, for example, even though it's not included) but others are truly as entertaining as any current game (Mario 3).

Yeah my wife told me people were outside Target waiting for it to open.

I was thinking of going by Best Buy but maybe even that is pointless. Likely.

Amazon sent out an email saying it will be available today at 2 pm and there is a limit of one (1) per customer. Not sure if that's EST or PST.. 

Good year for Nintendo with Pokemon and now this.

I checked about 4:10 and amazon said, In stock.  So I proceeded to add to the cart but it kept saying cart empty. I did this multiple times with the same result. Now the page won't even load...

Now just a white page.

I heard that the controller cable is very short making it so that you have to sit way close to the unit/tv.

Mario 3 was my favorite game. I think some of those old games were pretty difficult. Old =/= easy.

30 inches yeah. They have extension cables. But it seems dumb to hand profits to third parties like that.

I saw the wireless controller selling for $20... isnt the system for like $60?

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
