I have been playing professional golf for 3 years now on the xbox, but now I want to learn how to do it in real life. I am 6'5 285lbs and am A RIGT HAND GOLFER in Rhode Island. I enjoy eating, playing wii golf, and outdoors and chicks. I learned that being a pro golfer makes a lot of money an it looks pretty easy, so I wanna try it so I need a trainer who will get a small percentage of my winnings. PLs hit me up with details of a pro in the rhode islan area.

You will find this statement to be completely false. They make it look easy because they are very much the best in the world. Golf is one of the hardest games to become elite at.

Go play 18. Follow the rules extremely close. Then come back and tell us how you did.

Bro you probably won't even need a trainer to make it on tour. Save your winnings for a manager that can get you fat sponsorship deals and chicks.

I have to ask: what makes a person think because they are good at playing a sport game on Wii, that they can just put down the Cheetos and Mountain Dew and all of a sudden they can be a professional athlete?

Bro, you should make sure to:

1). Punch sides of beef in a freezer

2). Jog up and down some stairs

3). Play at least two rounds of mini golf a week

4). Eat raw eggs each morning.

In a month or so you should be ready to break onto the Web.com tour.

Dont forget to wear a really cool sweatband on your head and give us a shoutout as you don your first Green Jacket at next years Masters.

I believe you shot 6 over through two holes, if you were playing loose with the rules.

For a professional? That pretty bad. You wouldn't make a cut. Not to mention you probably played on a course designed for the average golfer, not professionals. Now that you've correctly followed the rules and played, keep it up. Play 10 rounds and if your worst score is 6 over, enter a professional tournament. Then see how you do.

    • Day 24 9-7 Worked on lower body movement with full swing. Focused on hips. Need to work on setup a bit. Was hoping to get to the short game area today, stayed home and recorded some swings instead. I've come to the conclusion I learn the most with my practice setup at home, just a net and a hitting strip. Overall happy with the progress this week.
    • Day 2 (September 7), still with the grip and the medicine ball (using weights).   Still on vacation and really aching to be able to do a full practice the way I'd be able to at home.  Also bought a 1/2" section of pipe today at the hardware store and have been regularly practicing the grip with that too while watching Sunday football with the family.
    • Day 1: Worked on feels for wedge swings. Primarily getting everything to move from the top of the backswing in the correct sequence.
    • Day 6 (7 Sep 25) - Afternoon pitch session with the 54 and 58 in the backyard. Keys: Alignment - Setup - Smooth swing thru - working on each to be as “automatic” as possible - not mindless, but deliberately repeatable. I have found the precision required to properly execute carries well into the full swings.
    • 180% is the threshold. But yeah, many of them are close to 200%. Not 120 and 123%. People generate speed differently. I think your speed will come more easily when this stuff gets sorted out. Stay disciplined. Stay on the road. You can't get off exit 74 before you hit exit 32.
