His par five scoring all year (except at one event - Bay Hill?) has been well below his standard. He seems to screw up one shot or another in there somewhere.

If there's a "trick" to Augusta it's dominating the par fives. I think even Spieth is over par on the par fours the last 5 years (4.02 IIRC).

I remember that stat coming out with McIlroy a couple of years ago - he played the par 5s over par and had he even birdied half, he'd have won comfortably.

Easy to say ifs and buts, but when that's usually your strength...

Danny Willett looks in danger of being a much younger Sandy Lyle at the moment. Constantly miles over par over the last two years.

Sandy Lyle is actually -1 and has a 314 yard drive. I'll shut up now.

No one seems to be talking about him much but I think Henrik Stenson may come in under the radar and win it.

Nobody's talking about him much because he's never finished in the top 10.

This year may be different. He's gonna hit a lot more drivers, he says.

I know everyone talks about 11 as the hard hole at the start of the back nine, but 10 seems to mess with a lot of players. Particularly with that pin position, it looks tough!

They said that 10 plays harder than 11.  11 is long with water and a part of Amen Corner so it gets more publicity I guess.

Coverage skipped with Tiger's shot... What did he hit?

Yeah, I think they said it hit a fan otherwise it would have had a chance of getting on the green.

Really? Didn't they move people out of the way enough? Or did he hit it more right than intended?

He hit it further right than intended.

More right than intended - they were moving people and he had a restricted backswing, so that could have been part of it.
