Pin positions today from what I've seen so far are setup for some good scores. Pretty easy pin on 12 and 15 from what I've seen. Should see a lot of birdies on 13 again. Softer conditions will make the front right on 16 a little more accessible. 18 will be tricky with the back left. The back pin on 9 isn't all that difficult as it takes away the danger of the front falloff. Just need to be careful of spin. But overall, doesn't seem to be as difficult as the pin setups from the first two days.

Agreed - from watching Mickelson and Hatton, 10 and 11 also look much more manageable due to the rain.

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

How is Phil's caddy's jumpsuit long on the shoulders and flood pants at the same time? Does anyone know if they taylor these for the caddys?

Jason Day with a great start at -3 through 7 holes and -1 overall for the championship. Hopefully he can keep it going the rest of the round.

The jumpsuits can't be the favorite attire of caddies out there, but at the same time it means they are out there at the Master.

I hope Rory will be able to get something going today. Not the same level of excitement in the crowds following Tiger today.

Lovely chip in for Phil. Even if he took the flag out... Silly man.

Can Tiger get the spectators to uproot a few trees? ;-)

Nice shot. He's pretty good at those big curvy shots. If only the straight ones were as good.

This is where golf is just depressing to watch. Second shot into 15, Phil as the ball massively below his feet with 263 yards to the flag. Ends up flying the green by 10 yards. I can't carry it that far with my driver on a flat surface and a tailwind...

You’re really depressed that the best players in the world are better than you?

No. That they are so much better than me.

Jordan, Rory, Patrick. They can shoot something low out there today with some stellar iron play.

God Tiger has made so many unforced errors...His chip by the green on 13 for instance.

I really don't understand why he has so much trouble slinging a big hook off the tee there...

    • Day 521 - 2026-03-06 Got some good work in for 15 minutes or so with someone overseeing. Downswing work.
    • Day 201 3-6 Wider backswing trying to blend it all together for a full swing. Not looking good yet.
    • Day 74 - 2026-03-06 Backswing work out back at the net. Slow.
    • Day 101: did a stack session. Worked on hands down in the mirror during breaks.
    • Got told off yesterday for doing full swings and full speed swings so went to the range this lunchtime and did some slow speed stuff and freezers. A few videos from my session.    First few are DTL then some FO This one is of me looking at the club on the way back. I think I get my arms lifting all the way back, not that you’d know because YouTube keeps glitching on me.    Second one is two slow backswings. This glitches the first one but the glitch looks like a pretty good position so I’ll live. Second one works. Then another swing back and hit. When I’m not watching or really focusing on it it seems that my upper arm doesn’t lift at first, rather stays roughly where it is and I add the lift at the end so the club comes a bit more inside. I think that’s what I’m going to focus on. This one glitches a bit too but it’s really just pausing. This shows the club coming a bit more inside but not as laid off at the top Then a couple of face on ones And lastly one smoothie and one freezer at normal speed  Quite happy with how this went. I can see my arms are better when I take it slower. Also while I’m still pitching my arms out it doesn’t seem to be as extreme as yesterday. Light at the end of the tunnel 🙂
