I don't remember what days I signed up for.  Doesn't matter though, I too was denied.

Yes, apparently it happens.  Still don’t believe it though - been pinching myself since yesterday to make sure I’m not dreaming.

Log in and check. No email = rejection, most likely.

I got my rejection e-mail today. I hadn't checked on Masters.com yet, but I was pretty sure I was a no.

I'M GOING.... to be watching on TV as usual.

Unless, I can squeeze access from work... (CBS) but that hasn't happened since 1992. And that was a lucky break. Need to start the brown nose campaign again...

Anyone know how hard ANI has cracked down on the selling of tickets?  I have a co-worker who "won" 4 for Tuesday, but he's not sure he's able to make it.  If possible, I'd buy his passes and go.  But I keep reading how they've gotten really hard on re-selling tickets....but everything I've read refers to "3rd party" selling, like StubHub and eBay.  I understand them not wanting the public scalping these, but what about one guy selling them to his buddy at face value?

I just looked up the ticket policy again, and here's what it says:

ANI is the only authorized source/seller of Masters® Tickets. Ticket(s) may not be offered for sale, sold or rented through/to third party resellers including, but not limited to, ticket brokers, travel agents, hospitality entities or scalpers. Holders of Tickets acquired from such parties, by whatever means, may be excluded from attendance to the Tournament. Offers for sale, re-sale or other transfer of Ticket(s) for a value in excess of face value is prohibited by the Ticket Agreement and also is restricted by Georgia law O.C.G.A. § 43-4B-25, et seq. TICKET(S) MAY NOT BE USED FOR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES (SUCH AS PRIZES, RAFFLES, AUCTIONS, CONTESTS OR SWEEPSTAKES). A Ticket obtained in contravention of these provisions will not be honored and the original Ticket Purchaser subject to the permanent loss of credentials.

The bolded part is where I'm having a hard time.....it clearly states "....in excess of....."  So, if I pay face value directly from an individual, and NOT from a 3rd party reseller, am I in the clear?

I think so, yes. Or if he gives them to you.

That's what I think too, @iacas.  I just talked to a buddy.  His neighbor goes every year.....that guy's family has had tickets for 50+ years, and he said the tickets are still in his grandfather's name.  No one ever asks for an ID.  They see the ticket, and in he goes.

Two of my three brothers have been selected for practice round tickets. One in 2008 and one in 2016. I’ve gone with them both times.

I’ve never been selected, including this year’s lottery.
