I missed Sectionals by 2 strokes this year.  I summarized my round here, if you or anyone is interested. June 4th is the day for Sectional Qualifying this year.  I'm not sure how many of the 500

While it’s cool and all seeing the wind blow hard and make these guys look bad, it does take away many times the worlds best players. Some of the worlds best are on the verge of being out of this thing already.

Piercy hit 9 GIR and shot under par.  I have hit 9 GIR before and didn't break 80.

-1 is an impressive score today. Especially with 50% GIR. Scrambling like a hero.

That reminds me, I promised I'd give Joe Buck a fair chance.  I'm not a big baseball fan so I don't quite get his popularity;  I'm aware of his father and the "famous Canadian" comment.

Wind, difficult course, tall rough, tall deep grass.

Poulter had a nice long putt to go two under, misses it barely.  So sorry Ian. ;-) 

Phil and Spieth with birdies.  Kuchar... was doing well. 

Dang Kuch, double-doubles should be reserved for after the round in Southern California.

At least Tiger knows what to expect and what's going on out there. Maybe the later players can go out with a different mindset and avoid too many bogies.

If Tiger shoots -1 today, I will get a Tiger Woods tattoo on my back. It’s not going to happen. If he shoots anywhere from 73-75, I think he would be happy. It’s a par 75 today out there.
