  1. You are probably gonna want a SW, other than that you are good.
  2. Used clubs are fine if the person who owned them before is about the same height and in your price range.
  3. Golf is more of a marathon not a sprint. 4 to 41/2 hours is a good pace. I am out there to relax not drop dead from a heart attack. People please pace yourself, golf is frustrating enough without going out of your way to make it more so.
  4. You shaved 30 stokes off your score in 3 years, that's simply awesome. You are doing well.
  5. Put Mr Grip it and Rip it. Longest of the tee he did hit some very mighty shots
  6. Practice, practice, practice is the key. No goal is truly unrealistic When you are on the course and hit a bad shot remember it so when you get on the driving range you can improve on the shot. Good luck I will be rooting for you.
  7. At 76 you are certainly allowed to move up if you want to. Make sure you factor your enjoyment level int that decision as well. Good luck.
  8. Interesting challenge 1 hour and 5t2 minutes no problem, but 1.52 I don't think so. Is there a record for over 60?
  9. Go to a golf store and try each club by hitting a ball into the net they should have set up and see which one feels better to you
  10. For me I don't like to play if it's much under 50. I cab't say whether cold will snap your c1ubs or not.
  11. One course not on your list is Lincoln, its in golden gate park. The first twelve hole or so feels like you've been playing up hill. The course will feel like it has been beating to death. When you get to the 17th tee and the golden gate bridge is at your feet so to speak, After seeing that view you will see you really won't care anymore. Have a wonderful trip.
  12. He played on tournament and had a top 10 finish. Not much else to say about 2017.
  13. Ball striking counts, but accuracy counts for a hole lot more. A 300 yard drive is nice, but if its in the wrong direction it does not mean all that much. It takes ball striking, a good short game, putting ability, and some ;luck to be rteally foods at this game.
  14. As long as he does not look like a slob I really don't care all that much.
  15. If he stays healthy is the key. If he does that he will do okay.
  16. The hardest swing to figure out is yours.
  17. Now tat was funny. Mt father always said you to talk to the trees. I don't think that's quite what he meant.
  18. Of course faster greens mean longer play, the more three putts the longer it takes. If the course is so crowded you 30 min's just to tee off who cares about saving 4.5 min..
  19. I try not to crowd anyone, but I really don't pay to much attention to who is around me that much. I am to busy getting all the bad shots out of me on the range and one day it just might work..
  20. It could be just about anything. A company logo, or a logo of some tournament or the 1000th club that company ever made. Take it to a professional and have them clean it and see if they can bring it out more
  21. I have a driver with a 48 inch shaft. I love it, I can really gety good distance with it.
  22. I plat a bit of both. The situation dictates what I do.
  23. You have two options ; 1 replace the 5 iron, or go buy a 7wood or hybrid. No brainer!
  24. If someone is interested in taking up the game the advise is buy a beginner set of clubs and go and get lessons.Unless you want to take 6 hours to play 18 holes the okay the don't.
  25. Something about no bogeys I like. I know that with 30 birdies I would have a bunch of 8's and other ugly stuff.
