Does Fox have a deal with Snedeker or something? They show him an awful lot for a guy who is over par.

Just starting to catch up on the dvr.  Not even an hour in and Azinger already mentioned that “invisible pull of the ocean” on putts.

Is that anything like the invisible pull of gravity on butts?

So far, a solid opening round for Tiger. He’s not the fastest of starters, so if he can get anything -2 or better, he’s set up nicely for the next few days.

Edit: crap I jinxed him.

He should've laid up to a comfortable full swing wedge distance.

Lol I can't believe he made that

Tiger's par on #14 just like he drew it up:  first two shots were nice, then he thinned his bunker shot, pitched to a two dozen feet or so, nailed the putt.

The one thing I can't help but notice from the highlights of Tiger in 2000: for some reason, his right arm sleeves are much longer than his left arm sleeves. You can see it here: http://usga.usopen.com/2005/images/wallpaper/tigerfistpump-1024x768.jpg

(It's not letting me embed it. There's also plenty more on google images.)

His left sleeve falls above his elbow, the right sleeve falls a few inches below it. When you see it on video it's more apparent and you can tell it's not the camera angle or him pulling the left sleeve up (or at least not entirely).

They're the same length. He hitches up the one sleeve. Those uber baggy shirts and pleated pants were siiiiiick

Apparently, Stevie Wonder cuts Henrik Stenson's hair...

I know he hitches the left one up, but there are some pictures where you can tell one isn't hitches and they still look very uneven.

    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
