This wouldn't work for me, as I only wear my glove on shots I hit with driver, fairway woods, or sometimes hybrid.

For those who find a GPS watch uncomfortable this may be a solution.
What do you guys think? …  Gimmick? … or Genius?

IMO, if it only fits on the manufactures gloves, then many users may not be interested.
The screen readout is small and will be difficult to view by those with poor vision.
The position makes it cumbersome to read, would be better if rotated.
I personally do not use a watch, prefer other devices.

Not really a Genius idea, but some may like it.

Now, if they could improve on this so that the ball had GPS, too.  Causing the ball to hone in on the flag... + or - 3 yards.  I'll take 9 foot birdie putts every time.  😀

Seriously? It's in the same orientation as a watch. If somebody said "Hey, look at the back of your hand." Its oriented exactly as you would look at it.

Not for me. I like the functions my Garmin unit has. Plus, I don't wear a glove.

If I get another distance measuring device it will be a rangefinder.

Marketing at it’s best.  A great way to force people to buy what appears to be very mediocre golf gloves...

One size fits all?!

Nah, I wouldn't buy this. Waste of time and money for me.

I already carry a Logix gps unit, and a lazer range finder. In my bag. I very seldom use these as it is.

I do wear two gloves, and the index pointer part in each glove  works quite well. As in "your ball is over there", or "hit your ball that way". 😋

I use ZeroFriction golf gloves.  They are my go to glove as they are the best compression golf gloves that I have found on the market.  If you have issues with your fingers/hands I highly suggest giving these gloves a try.

I wear them on both hands and keep them on during the entire round.  I normally wear size XL in leather golf gloves.

I have had some wear issues with ZeroFriction from time to time I feel those instances make up for how my hands feel after a round using other gloves.

I do not use the GPS glove.  I like my Garmin G8.

Pairs with a smartphone to work?  I already have 3 free apps on my smartphone that will give me GPS distance.

I don't think I would be interested in this device. Seems like a solution for a problem that didn't exist.

I wear a GPS watch but I hate wearing a watch so I am planning to ditch it, and planning to ditch my glove too.

My idea is to simplify a bit and just rely on my rangefinder for distances.

    • Day 134 (26 Apr 24) - played Minnesott today, worked with the mid-irons and approaches (especially the 7i).  Scoring was a little higher, but I was focused on making the needed adjustments to the swing to achieve desired distances.
    • I honestly believe if they play longer tees by 300-400 yards, closer to or over 7,000 yards, more rough, tougher greens, women's golf will become much more gripping.  BTW, if it weren't for Scottie killing it right now, men's golf isn't exactly compelling.
    • Day 542, April 26, 2024 A lesson no-show, no-called (he had the wrong time even though the last text was confirming the time… 😛), so I used 45 minutes or so of that time to get some good work in.
    • Yeah, that. It stands out… because it's so rare. And interest in Caitlin Clark will likely result in a very small bump to the WNBA or something… and then it will go back down to very low viewership numbers. Like it's always had. A small portion, yep. It doesn't help that she lost, either. Girls often don't even want to watch women playing sports. My daughter golfs… I watch more LPGA Tour golf than she does, and it's not even close. I watch more LPGA Tour golf than PGA Tour golf, even. She watches very little of either. It's just the way it is. Yes, it's a bit of a vicious cycle, but… how do you break it? If you invest a ton of money into broadcasting an LPGA Tour event, the same coverage you'd spend on a men's event… you'll lose a ton of money. It'd take decades to build up the interest. Even with interest in the PGA Tour declining.
