She used the F word more times than I use it in half a decade...

And my favorite line was, "What are you, a pitcher for the Yankees? "

It would be "to the point" if she eliminated 99% of the "f***s." But those are the entertaining part.

It's not "to the point" at all, but that's part of why it's so good.

But what about the whiners who say that you have to be loving, kind, gentle and understanding of the people who won’t get vaccinated?   Who will just dig in because they are being criticized?**

To the @David in FL- nobody wants you to die of COVID or even really get sick-We just want you to see the error in your ways and to be a mature and intelligent and thoughtful member of society-to act like an adult- and get the f***ing shot.

Because like the f***ing article says-We do care about you.-That is why we kept pushing it.

"The expert golfer has maximum time to make minimal compensations. The poorer player has minimal time to make maximum compensations." - And no, I'm not Mac. Please do not PM me about it. I just think he is a crazy MFer and we could all use a little more crazy sometimes.

It will sadly fail to get the ignorant to do the responsible thing and get the vaccine.

The ignorant don't or won't or can't read articles like this.  They just don't wanna.  Especially since it doesn't follow their agenda.

This cracks me up.  Our local newspaper and papers around the state always tell us in advance when DUI patrols will be on the streets at night.  Guess what, lot's of people still get arrested for DUI during this period.  They simply didn't read about the patrols... 'cause they don't wanna read.  Their reasons for not reading any news are about as dumb as those who won't read about Covid.

I have met some of them.

That seems within the "Law" (bad law in my view) to me.  They are not "Mandating" a vaccine, just offering a discount.  I've seen restaurants offer discounts if a student gets an "A" on their report card or if they show a student ID or even if you have a ticket stub from some event.  How is this any different?  I just hope it is good food.

Researchers found that surgical masks impede the spread of COVID-19 and that just a few, low-cost interventions increase mask-wearing compliance.

people are either worried, most of whom have the shot, or not worried.  the worried vaccinated are calling for mandates, masks, forced vaccines.  i'm vaxxed, but yelling at the folks who aren't to change their mind isn't likely to work.  I think folks that are holding out would be more likely to get vaxxed, wear masks, not fight mandates etc. if there was a clear goal.  0 covid isn't happening, and now saying we need a third shot is not gonna help.

    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
    • Exactly correct.   I was absolutely certain about the penalty (none here), but the bit about where they play from can be really confusing the first time you read it.  In my big paper rule book, i used colored highlighters to make it clear.  Good thing I did, at the Cascades there's little to no cell service, so using the rules app on the phone wasnn't possible.
    • Taking a crack it, but looks pretty clear. 11.1  Ball in Motion Accidentally Hits Person or Outside Influence. a. No Penalty to Any Player If a player’s ball in motion accidentally hits any person (including the player) or outside influence: There is no penalty to any player. This is true even if the ball hits the player, the opponent or any other player or any of their caddies or equipment. Reading further down it looks like they have to play the ball as it lies. No replay from the previous spot.
