Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

While taking a break from food prep...I would like to wish everyone a happy, and safe, Thanksgiving.  When you boil it all down...it is our friends and family that are important.  Let's put aside our differences and revel, if only for a day, on the things we agree on.  In these trying times we need each other.  That we do not see, eye to eye, on every issue is beside the point.  Cheers to you all.

This was an odd thanksgiving. Dad in Assisted living with no visitors allowed, sister a nurse working with COVID patients and felt she is too much risk to visit and brother has COVID now so only my wife & I for dinner, we cooked enough for the whole family anyway, just do not know any other way.....But still thankful for much including our health, texts from friends, our jobs, and much else.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING  to all!

I signed up here after my son wanted to play a fall middle school golf league, and I was volunteered to be his team's lead marshal.  Now mind you, up to this point, my entire golf experience has been a local 9 hole public course around the airport that my coworkers and I basically hung out at after work to unwind, to shoot the bull, we never really played a round there (I haven't been there in 20 years), and whatever mini golf place my family would find while we were on vacation.  During the fall golf league season, we signed my son up for lessons from the local pro, and she insisted that I go hit balls too.  That got me started swinging, and I found out I enjoy the challenge, so I'm now signed up for lessons too.  If the weather is bad, I'll go down to my local indoor range, and hit balls for an hour or two.  I'm very much a beginner, but willing to learn.
