Do you save a logo ball from each course you play? How many logo balls do you have?

I did collect logo balls for several years for all the courses I played, even had a display case for them!  But over time that collection grew and the amount of balls collected became to much.  I eventually paired them down to several that were memorable.  As for the rest of them I went to the range and hit them all!

l did know a guy that collected pencils from all the courses he played. A bit more manageable.

I’m missing a few from courses that closed through the years because I started collecting them later in my golfing life. All in all I have 90 and I’m missing about 10.

I have bought balls to give to friends, but never for myself. I do have a few that I have found, but I don't display them.

I have a few but the large chunk of courses I have played never had logo balls.  I am thinking of starting up a collection now

Collect them? I wouldn't even play them on an executive course....

I used to collect them, and had many of them. I never did display them but it got to be a bit boring to me. They just accumulated and we're in different spots around the house. They are usually cheaper balls that I don't play so I just got rid of them all via some sort of practice activity. Nobody really cares that much where I have been and where I am going so I didn't see any benefit and saving them.

I do, but I only have about 55-60. I don’t travel much (not my thing) and so I don’t often play new courses

I'm pretty sure in my whole golfing life I've never bought a logo ball from a golf course. It never even crossed my mind. 

I'm not a collector of anything though. I have a few score cards here and there, but those are more because I stuffed them in my bag and forgot about them. I used to occasionally keep a yardage book or two, but not so much as a souvenir but because I would want to use it to play the course. In today's world electronic stuff has made the yardage book pretty obsolete. 

I have bought a hat or two, but again, those are to wear not collect.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

about the only thing I do collect. Have one case displaying balls from courses in state and the other from out of state/out of country. Each case holds 63, have 9 left to go in Oregon, 31 from out of state. As some have mentioned, some courses don't have or were out of...and some of those (Primm Valley comes to mind) were so far out of way that I will likely never get them. Still bitter...

As others have said, I don't collect logo balls (or divots, pencils, cards, etc ...). It would be nice to have a large collection but for me it takes too much room and trouble.  How about some photos?

Mr. Kuehn... collecting (a few) divots is the real thing.  All that other stuff is just profiteering by the course.  😁

I enjoy looking at the balls from courses I played and they brings back happy memories. The people I played with and the places I traveled to. Life is really about memories.

I have a friend that collects logo balls of all kinds, not just of courses, Law firms, beverages, automobile companies, plumbers - you name it. Trades with other collectors around the world and has around 24,000 logos to date, all listed and categorized on his website. I've donated quite a few logo balls to his collection.

No, because I play crappy courses a lot, and the crappy courses have crappy logo balls. LOL

      I added to total today by hopping it in on the first hole for an eagle. A short par 4, I hit 4 wood to 110. With a little breeze in my face I hit a 50 degree gap wedge to 2 feet and watched it hop into the hole for an eagle 2!

      Day 14 (September 18).  Morning practice, despite questionable weather (it's raining).   Worked on chipping at first, including run-ups with UW and PW;  I've noticed lately some of my near-GIRs are missing forward, with nothing but grass ahead of me, but 20-30 yards to the pin.  After a few misadventures putting those lately, I wanted to at least get a feeling for what a 30-yard chip shot that doesn't have the variance of my quarter lob wedge would feel like.  I still think "putt when you can putt" is right, but... I am less sure I have a 30 yard putt in me.  Range time also, of course, same routine as the past week or so (drill, 3-4 slow shots, etc).   Did not get to the putting green as it was starting to come down a bit more. Darn, it really is raining.  And I thought today would be a perfect day to play, seeing as how it's 9-18 and all.

      I'm in the same boat.  I think the last team event I got really excited for was the 2019 Presidents' Cup.  When I first got into golf, the Ryder Cup was an event (one among many) I used to plan my schedule around to make sure I'm able to watch it.   I'm not sure I realized how close it was until I saw this thread pop up.
