7 wood.

I've never owned one of those before, but I like woods over hybrids at this point snd figure it'll be close enough. But it has s regular shaft, so I'm hoping it's not a noodle.

Driver, 3, 5, 7 is the plan, but have D, 3,4,4 in bag. I messed up and bought two 4's and need to trade for a matching 5.

Battery powered, heated vest and a pair of battery powered, heated hand warmers. I'm considering a pair of heated socks, too. I may need to mount a 12 volt car battery on the cart with a pair of jumper cables to keep myself powered for the whole round!

What vest did you buy?   I've been looking at Ororo.

Colored balls because white and dead fairways with leaves can be challenging.
Another set of Hogan vintage irons. I made an offer he couldn't refuse. Now I need another set of vintage Face Savers--I missed the last one that popped up. I'm going to need another bag or two as well...😄

I purchased this one:

Heated Vest for Men with Battery Pack, Lightweight Rechargeable Electric Heating vest with 9 Heating Panels

It's from an (foreign) amazon vendor called "PIFMYSEDOL".

I've worn it twice while playing golf and it seems to work pretty well.

another set of NOS Face Savers for the old irons. whoot! I'm on a roll!  Come on Lotto, I'll buy a course of my own! (it's over a billion now)

A G-tech electric hand warmer. Not necessarily a golf thing, but I will be using it for golf.

Balls..! 8 dozen brand new Snell MTB balls for $14/dz from another member of our CC! Damn I was cartwheeling out of joy..🤸‍♀️

He had stocked up couple of years ago and now is switching balls. Apparently he got ball fitted with My Golf Spy for something else. Was happy to help him make some space for it...😊

Last golf related purchase for me : 3 swim caps 😅

Golf course is quite muddy here during the winter and it's a mess to clean the pushcart's wheels every time. Hence last weekend : I played with someone who installed swim caps on the wheels.  He get them off at the end of the round, soak them in water and it's done. I was amazed.

That sounds like next level thinking to me.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

My Zero Restriction rain gear arrived today...after the two most recent big storms are past my area now. But I'm prepared for rainy golf during my company's winter holiday break.

More something you can use when you're actually swinging than just something to prove the concept.

Don’t forget True shoes!

I just bought two pair of Trues, an All Day Ripstop (Grey) and the Lux Sport (Black) on their Black Friday sale. The Ripstop was 1/2 size smaller that the Lux for proper fit. Both are nice.

    • If you like golf podcasts, Hack It Out is tough to beat. Lots of interesting info and it's very funny.  Lou is one of the hosts along with Greg Chalmers and Mark Crossfield.  They love to give each other a hard time.  Lou catches most of it, but he takes it well and dishes out his fair share.  Great show.

    • Day 9: 2/15/2025 Spent several 5-10 minutes sessions today working on what I learned from Yoda yesterday. Pretty much a new priority piece.
    • Day 25 (15 Feb 25) - A little background on today’s drill session.  On the way to band rehearsal this morning I was listening to the guys on PGA Tour radio in the golf school segment and they got to talking about short game practice.  As I love working that part of the game, my ears perked up.  They were talking taking multiple clubs and doing pitches/chips from the same distance and learning how each flies the ball.  So today was the start of the 8P54 drill (8i - Pw - 54°).   Set it up to hit two balls with each club from the same lie to a set distance.  It really helps envision what I should see in each club.  A sweet new twist to a fave drill.
