Since there was not a past, or current  specs in the question, I would have to go with Moe Norman as my first choice. Even the PGA back then recognized it as a viable swing. The fact that no one (probably even Moe him self) could not teach it correctly was the swings liability.

Today, I would probably go with Tommy Watson's swing. A long, successful career, and little, if any back issues sounds like a pretty good, long term swing to me.  I thought Annika Sorrenstam had a pretty easy swing too. I'd also throw that young lady Ochoa in the mix. Easiest swing I ever saw for the short time she competed.

I like Moe Norman also. Tiger did too! Lasted 4 decades as ball striker. Two Master appearances in his early twenties.

Probably Ben Hogan's swing - or Jack's. Both got a lot of their games. But Adam Scott is  good choice - I recall when he, Charles Howell and TW all had very similar swings years ago - but Adam seemed to keep his consistent over the years. Thank goodness he didn't meet up with SeanFoleyHankHaney to botch things up for him.

Yeah stupid Tiger. How dare he win all those majors with Haney while Adam Scott took forever to win ONE-and how dare he win almost as many times the PGA Tour in two years with Sean Foley than Adam Scott has won his entire career. Stupid stupid Tiger. Rick-Can you make a post without talking about Tiger? Inquiring minds want to know. ---- I will take my swing by the way because I know how it works and I do pretty good with it.

"The expert golfer has maximum time to make minimal compensations. The poorer player has minimal time to make maximum compensations." - And no, I'm not Mac. Please do not PM me about it. I just think he is a crazy MFer and we could all use a little more crazy sometimes.

wow, I only had time to go through the first and last page so far, I will agree with Ernie, Fred, and Moe.  Has anyone mentioned Steve Elkington yet?

I forget what I previously wrote, but now I'm of the opinion, any. ANY of them is fine by me. They're all pretty darn good.
