I hear you brother - kids are on spring break here which is nice, except it has snowed the last 3 days (1-2" Sat, dustings Sun/Mon), though I guess I shouldn't complain as it "only" went down to 19° here last night.
I was hoping to get out and play at least once this week, but the courses would have to reopen for that to happen

Snow is not usual for us in April, but the cold air is. It was 15F today when I got to work at 5:45AM.

It's a killer! When golf comes back on the tube early in the year with the California swing, the tourney that always gets me horny for golf is Pebble Beach. I've watched it since it was the Crosby Clambake!

That one really gets the ache in the heart started. At least we have a golf dome here now so we can go swat balls over the Winter, but it's not really playing.

Oddly enough, I've been able to play 72 holes in March in NE Ohio this year, which is pretty much a doggone miracle! But, it always snows in April, and it snowed 4 days ago. And we're forecast to get 3-4 inches over the weekend. Well, I'll spend that watching TV. It's Masters week!

It's supposed to be around 50* so I'm going to try to get 18 in.  I took a look at the long range forecast for Long Island, I don't see any days in the 60's so no sense waiting.

My team is playing a tournament on Saturday and Sunday this week. The highs are supposed to be about 35° and 44° both days.

Needless to say I plan to stock up on Hot Hands hand warmers later today.

This weather is so not helping me get ready for my golf trip in 10 days :pound:

I am hoping to get out to the range at some point next week. I've been practicing my backswing with a mirror and putting indoors. 

My backswing should be SOLID with all the practice I've been doing :)

35 degrees and raining... screw it mother nature isn't going to keep me off the course for 3 straight days! I always walk tho so I'll bundle up before I leave and probably be roasting by the 3rd hole lol

The rain turned into a legit blizzard by hole 5 still toughed it out and messed around for about 13 holes. It wasn't really too cold it hovered around 30 degrees but on my last couple holes it was coming down so hard I couldn't see the green from 150 out I felt like I was in one of those new Nike commercials the enjoy the chase or whatever the slogan is. Unfortunately looks like next Wednesday is the next day getting out will even be an option, but hey projecting highs in the 50s end of next week! Got a heat wave coming lol

      So no joke, last evening post work nine must have been the craziest side I've ever played: Bogey, double, double, par, birdie, birdie, birdie, double, birdie. Two gimme birdies, one 15 footer and one bonus bomb from prolly 35 feet on no. 9. Full disclosure, it's a super easy course when greens are running at an 8 with easy welcoming pins. Still, a couple of firsts there. Driver freed me up starting the fourth hole. Anyway, driver notes: 1) anti left left hand grip. 2) no structural bind on hands/grip. 3) left shoulder HAS to get up to chin with humerus completely detached from chest and shoulder socket (feel) Big game tomorrow, aiming to break 80.
